This hotel sells because of the view. I stayed two nights. The first night the hotel was pretty full, so I was assigned a room with a view of the next building which looked like the back of a tenement. The next day I requested a different room and was rewarded with a lovely view overlooking the city. ...
Good central location, a huge breakfast room (which was busy) and fabulous choice of food (though no hot bacon), and spectacular views from the bar on the top floor.
Expected more going in but in general the apartment was a good sized place. All amenities they advertised were right on. The only disappointment was the fact that the rooms don’t get cleaned daily unless you request it. Furniture was old looking. I’d give them another chance on any future visits ...
Walking distance to tram to get to downtown Oslo (30 min ride) if you prefer not to drive. Nice breakfast buffet, nice pool and sauna. For dinner I would recommend nearby restaurant in Holmenkollen but don't miss breakfast.
Only stayed for a couple of nights while working nearby, the only thing was that it was a bit remote and a good 20 min walk into town.
The staff was very friendly. Had a wonderful big room. Hotel receptionist said he saw we were and family and thought we would appreciate the bigger space. Went out of his way
The Saga Hotel is well situated in a quiet area but still close to the city centre. My single room was well arranged to make good use of the space and was clean and functional. The buffet breakfast has a good variety of dishes.
10 min walk to Majorestuen station for direct ride to Holmenkolen and later stops for cross country or alpine skiing.
No housekeeping (there is a number to call, and I got a quick response to an email). A nice little kitchen-in-a-closet in a studio.
I stayed at P-Hotels in February 2018 having never visited Oslo before. I can only say that overall it was a very enjoyable stay. The man on the reception desk gave me an adapter for my laptop and another lady gave me directions to an agency. In fact nothing was too much trouble for them. Admittedly ...
Good location with well-connected public transport. Unfortunately the WIFI was rather frustrating as the connectivity was poor with constant disruption to the internet connection. However, the breakfast was good and the overall experience was not that bad.
Pros: The hostel location is great, their staff are pretty friendly, helpful and laid-back. Cons:There are no hand soaps at the rest rooms. There is a kitchen in every sleeping area. Unfortunately guests staying inside the room use that kitchen at anytime which causes noise and uncomfortable sleeping. There ...
What a great surprise this hotel was. A friend mentioned this was a "very cool hotel" and sometimes the word "cool" can have double meanings (such as overly modern and tacky). Impressive art collection, dark, bohemian tomes and perfect staff. Loved and will return here. Location could not be any ...
Very nice hotel - perfect location with good breakfast. Rooms a touch small but that is common in older buildings. Super clean and comfortable . Room and bathroom seemed to to be very recently renovated. Excellent hotel for reasonable price.
Great location for splitting Oslo in two to look at. Quiet street near the centre, station, Palace, parks etc. fantastic People and loads to do here. Staff: all spoke better English than me and most helpful. Limited Bar but there is one. Amazing Breakfast and evening meal.
