One week in Stockholm, and it was wonderful.Posted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: The books and feeling of a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It didn't feel like a hotel, but a good place to meet friends or read in the evenings.
Cons: Bedding and pillows
Location: Close to everything that you could walk to
The hotel has a wonderful environment, excellent location, and good breakfasts. However, the bed was far too soft, and the pillows too soft. We needed some tissues, perhaps like Kleenex, in the room. But being able to open the window at night was lovely, and the lobby invited us to linger there, reading and drinking tea in the evening.

Nice Stockholm HotelPosted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: Conveniently located in the city so we could walk around to see the sights.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind. It was smallish, but that is standard for Europe.
Location: Several restaurants, coffee shops, and general shopping. Museums, the theater as well as a nice walk around the waterways.
We liked the books, in the hotel and room. The towel heaters were nice. We also enjoyed the hotel dining, which was excellent.

No free parking, not comfortable bedPosted Sep 25, 2017
There is no free parking for the residents of the hote. The mattress was the most uncomfortable ever. Excellent staff and food. Very clean rooms

Not really up to a descenr standardPosted Sep 15, 2017
The garage is terrible! Much to narrow and to many cars are allowed in at the same time. Impossible to drive in and out without scratching your vehicle! And you are charged SEK 350/night!

Nice hotel at the right place in StockholmPosted Aug 31, 2017
Pros: Location, breakfast, staff
Cons: The AC control in the room did not seem to work. Also, would have been nice to have a proper shower cabin instead of a feet on the tiles solution.
Had a good experience staying at this hotel. Staff was helpful, room was clean and quiet, good size bed. Excellent breakfast!! Restaurants, supermakerts and tube access are all within 5 mins from the venue. Would recommend for short stays.

Nice stayPosted Aug 30, 2017
Front desk is more of a table with a couple computers, so a little more like walking into a home. Rooms are on the small side, but our quick stay made them just right. Breakfast was a great inclusion. Walkable to nice park and shopping/eats as well as subway.

Budget friendly hotel, good locationPosted Aug 27, 2017
Cons: A better shower curtain would be helpful - water went all over the bathroom floor
We really enjoyed how walkable the city center was from this hotel. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant way to begin each day. Clean rooms with fun decor.

Excellent Hotel - Conveniently locatedPosted Aug 26, 2017
Pros: Central location, excellent breakfast, comfortable room,
Cons: Make sure you get your directions from the hotel staff. The common person on the street is generally not helpful if you ask for directions.
Location: Gamla Stan, Vasa Museet, Stockholm City Hall, Nobel Garden, Saluhall
The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating (I arrived at 8:00 AM and they were able to give me a room despite the fact that the checkin time is 3:00 PM!) The breakfast at the hotel is excellent with quite a broad smorgasbord of things to choose from. The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance to two underground metro stations ("Stadion"), one of which is at Ostermalmstrorg (just below Ahlens, and one the way to Ostermalm Saluhall). The other one is at the intersection of Karlavagen and Nybrogatan. Both are on the red line and can take you to most places of interest. The hotel room itself is rather on the small side, as compared to most hotel rooms in the U.S., but it is comfortable and very quiet despite the fact that its on a rather busy road. There is almost round the clock hotel service staff on each floor and they are helpful. Unlike in the U.S. they do not nickel-and-dime you for bottled water in the room. If you need more bottles of water (either sparkling or plain, just ask the hotel staff). In addition, there is a 7-Eleven that is very close by, which is open 24 hours, if you want to buy something quick to eat. If you are trying to reach the hotel from the Arlanda airport, I would highly recommend taking the Flygbussarna Door-to-Gate. I would recommend this hotel to both business and holiday travelers with small children.
