The bed was very uncomfortable. I haven’t slept that poorly in a long time. And the sheets and pillow cases don’t have very soft fabric on at all. The room is small but fine for just a pit stop. The room was oddly very noisy from early in the morning, both from the street outside and from the cleaning staff. The floor also seemed to have a layer of grime to it, though the room itself seemed fairly clean. It was very pricy given the small and noisy room.

One short night in Otta
Check-in was pleasant and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was decent and the towels were thick and fluffy. Dispenser hand soap and all-in-one in the shower which I believe is standards in Scandinavian countries. There were hardly any outlets in the room, none by either of the nightstands. The room was neat and appeared clean with the exception of rose petals under one of the beds leading me to believe the room had not been thoroughly vacuumed. I had a 5:49 train to catch so I was unable to have any breakfast. At least there was a coffee machine in the lobby so I was able to grab some on my way out. It was good coffee!

Perfect room, great food
Room was comfortable and spacious; nothing too overdone or complex. Well located in the lovely little town of Otta. Dinner buffet was just what we wanted, and the breakfast was great, too. A perfect one-night stay for two tired travelers.

Great place to start exploring the mountains from.
A well positioned hotel, but the only one in town and rooms do look a bit dated. Good food and clean and warm though.

Nice hotel close to the parks
Despite the small room size and the slight inaccessibility with a few mini-steps, the hotel was very well maintained with nice quality rooms and good storage for the small size. The breakfast was good too.

Nice hôtel easily accessible
Elavator blocked by Clearing staff and réception staff did morning to settle the matter. Very Little parking available. Common areas clean and functional. Dinner buffet expansive. Breakfast buffet offers very good variété and good taste

Front desk clerk not friendly upon check in. Dinner included in room:. salad bar was good, entrees and vegetables not of good quality, desserts not good. Waitress was rude! Seemed like she hated her job. There was one excellent wait staff, Mari. She was in bar area and seemed to be assisting with the kitchen. She did not wait on us, but was very kind and helpful when I asked for her assistance. There was a huge bus tour group and it appears that the hotel makes a dinner buffet to suit large crowds. The dinner was overpriced and poor value. The room was okay, average comfort. Upon check out, Jannicka at front desk was sweet and friendly. We would not recommend this hotel. Thon was a thorn in our side.

Amazing hotel for a small city as Otta As usual Thon hotels service is super we decided last minute to stop at Otta so Thon was our choice Best breakfast , great room , we have been upgraded to bigger business room thanks to Mrs Valaug in the reception who gave best service and with a smile !

Overnight break in driving
We drove from Olso and decided stop for the night in Otta. It was nice arrive to a clean and comfortable room. The restaurant served a great dinner that and breakfast the next morning was fantastic. The hotel even packed a lunch as we were would be driving most of the day.

A little rough
I know we didn't pay much, but this was a little rough. It is near the train, and near the small city and walking to food, but the room was pretty old. It wasn't dirty, but it felt dirty. Cots for beds. 2 single beds. Bathroom was old and not kept up. It was nice for them to offer us internet service for free. Seemed to have a nice buffet which we didn't take part in. Seems like a one-night stop in betweeen tourist groups.

Std hotel with a good position in case you have to switch from western to eastern part of Norway. We found in between the bed a t-shirt that was not our.....that is why we evaluated as low the cleaning of the room.....

Good base for hikes to Rondane
The room was comfortable, modern and clean. The bathroom was also in good condition, but always flooded after showering due to the strange design of the glass door.
