I don’t remember much. It was late and I was tired. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. It’s been a while since I stayed at a BW. I remember them being nicer. The room was a little run down. I was gone early the next morning and didn’t get to sample breakfast.

We were traveling late and decided we needed to stop for the night. It was convenient and easy to get to from the interstate. The parking lot was well lit. The room was not great which is I guess is what to expect. There was hair in the bathroom. The water never got hot, it was luke warm at best. When I pulled back the comforter there was a long hair on the sheets. I decided not to look at anything else and get the sleep we needed. The breakfast was available when we got up early in the morning but it was basically cereal or toast, it was better than nothing.

Should be renamed to motel 6 or days inn
Honestly not sure why or how this is even a best western I stay at lots of best western hotels and this is by far the worst at best it’s comparable to an americinn or days inn breakfast was garbage coffee was ice cold old and stale the pool area well the light was dangling outside of the pool the hot tub was not hot and not jetted as advertised it was missing all jets just huge holes in the walls of of that bubbled air out not comfortable or relaxing in a mildly above warm atmosphere the rooms were old and e trembly out dated this isn’t uncommon for a best western however the tv didn’t work the refrigerator wouldn’t get cold the room it’s self had a bit of an odor and the rooms wasn’t up to any sort of standard of cleanliness which is highly u usual for a best western I wouldn’t not stay there ever again and I hope this review makes u change your mind as well the Hampton inn is comparable in price for Oglesby stay there the best western should be avoided

Mouse in our room!!
Staff was not super welcoming but that’s not that big a deal. There was a MOUSE in our room overnight!! We heard it scrambling through our snack bag and found holes chewed through our snacks the next morning. Yuck!!

The room was across from the vending, ice, and laundry machines. These were all just in the hallway, not closed off. All night we heard people getting ice, snacks and some laundry. In the room, the toilet was constantly running no matter how many times we jiggled the ball and chain. The sink had grime in it. The refrigerator’s motor would go on and off every 15 minutes throughout the whole night very loudly. The next morning, the hallway smelled like sewage. We used the bathroom and the contents of it would not flush. In order to get it to flush, we had to fill the rooms garbage pale up with water and pour it in the back of the tank. This required two buckets of water. We have stayed at many Best Western’s and this was by far the worst we have been at. To top it all off, it was the most expensive Best Western we have stayed at on this trip. We were highly disappointed and are not looking to stay at another Best Western for the remainder of our trip.

We were relatively close to the state parks which was very nice. There were gas stations conveniently close by for small needs. Not much for dining in the immediate area. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our rooms were vwry clean and comfortable.

Crack pipe in room molding shower
This place is pretty crappy shower was all full of mold water pressure was horrible room didn't smell the greatest moved end table found crack pipe on floor will never stay here again Hotel said they give me money off the room for the inconvenience on Friday but they gave me money off on Saturday which was a lesser night to save them money I would recommend not staying away from here

It was very wellkept, the breakfast was good, the staff was very friendly. The only dislike was, we were a couple hrs. early arriving and they were going to charge extra to go ahead and check in. So we chose to leave and come back. Other than that, we were impressed.

Nice stay except for the cricket in our room!
The stay was very nice, except for the fact that there was a cricket in our AC unit and was chirping all night. I'm not going to give a bad rating for that but we didn't sleep very much.
