The rooms were very clean and quiet. There were many amenities in the room, e.g. microwave, iron, fridge, dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was within walking distance of the main attractions.

A great place to stay with friendly staff & top notch service. Our check in was very pleasant. The room was very clean & cozy. Lots of hot water in the shower. Parking was available I’ll definitely stay here again🏩

I stayed for one night- arrived a bit early and was able to check in right away. My room was as expected- it’s an older property, but my room was clean and comfortable and I felt safe as a solo (female) traveller. Breakfast was included and was amazing! Staff was polite and helpful.

The staff were amazing and very polite and made the checking in and our process as simple as possible. Amazing view from the balcony on a safe quiet street where you can still see the downtown area close to many attractions! Amazing breakfast in a nice little area with a nice view! The room was overall very clean, a little tiny but perfect for the price point and an amazing spot if your visiting with a friend or significant other! 10/10 recommend! Will be visiting again in the future ☺️

This was my first stay at the Byward Blue Inn and I was pleasantly surprised. The property is convenient to the Byward Market, Parliament Hill, the Rideau Centre, and delicious dining options. My room was comfortable, well equipped, and clean. I would be happy to recommend this property to my friends and family.

The hotel is affordable and the service is good. Staff is nice. Breakfast has a small but sufficient selection, you can eat and enjoy. Points to take when booking: - Rooms fit 2 not 3 as advertised (1 bed no sofa) - no slippers are available The hotel should update the room description on Expedia to reflect actual capacity and available amenities. Another important point for families with strollers: the hotel entrance has stairs and no ramp, so you would need to carry the stroller to go in. Maybe there is another entrance, but I didn’t see it nor inquire about it.

The property is decent but the front desk staff seemed very grumpy and even when we asked for a bottle of water they asked us to come and give the existing bottle to get a new one. That was weird. The room was small and tight. For the price it’s too much. I read the reviews and I had too much of an expectation. The good thing was that they allowed an early check in and the breakfast was pretty good.

Honestly was shocked at how amazing our stay was, just because it was priced SO well! Breakfast was amazing this morning with many options. Staff were super friendly and helpful and our room was super clean . They even have a terrace and a patio !
