“The cabin is clean and has anything you need for cooking and relaxing with your family or friends. It’s close to Starved Rock park - the St. Louis Canyon trailhead is literally right across the street! Bathrooms had extras like makeup removal towelettes, flossers, & disposable hand towels. I would definitely rent again with a group”

“The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River.”

“The staff at the desk were helpful and checking in and out was fast and easy. My room was clean, quiet, and spacious. I only stayed one night, just to have a bed and a shower, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The property looked nice and spacious as well. I think it should be advertised more clearly that the hotel is right next to some train tracks. I didn't mind them passing by, but others might not like the noise.”
