I have been renting at this hotel for more than a week and I had never asked for my room to be cleaned and yesterday when I went to check in early at 8am and asked them to please clean it, the man told me that they were very busy, when I arrived at 3 in the morning afternoon they never came by my room they never cleaned it, however all the ones that are vacating could clean it but mine is not ridiculous what they did apart from at 9 in the morning we had to run because the alarm went off in the morning we were able to sleep afterwards , very disenchanted

Yearly summer trip to visit family
We stay at this hotel every summer when we visit family. We love the pool and hot tub!! They are serving breakfast again and we were very happy to see that. Looking forward to next years stay!

DO NOT STAY HERE, BED BUGS! i was in town for work and I got a room for one night. I woke up at 4 am with bites all over my arms, so I got up and shined my flashlight and 4 BIG BED BUGS were crawling on my pillows I took video and pictures for proof as well staff didn’t seem too worried about it though I was able to get a refund. DO NOT STAY

It was a good stay. Hotel was nice. Room was nice. Beds were comfortable. Room was spacious. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

It was an ok stay. The phone didn’t work right, the remote to the tv didn’t work right, and our fire alarm in the room went off in the middle of the night and the manager said it didn’t have a battery in it. The pool was way too cold to swim in so that was a huge disappointment! Breakfast options were limited, but overall it was ok.

Room was perfect! It's hard to find a decent hotel room for a family of 5. Room was clean, but not nearly enough towels and wash cloths. Pool was cold, unfortunately. Kids enjoyed it for a little while, but all i could do was hop in and get right back out! At least there was a hot tub!

Great pool!
The outside of the hotel gets you a bit worried at first, but once you get inside it’s fine! The pool is awesome! The only complain I have is the cleanliness. Our bathroom floor in the room had dried pee and dirt all over it. Other than that, pretty decent place to stay!

Turn down the TV.
We checked in at about 11pm. The front desk guy must have been listening to the TV which was across the room. It was so loud I had a hard time hearing him, otherwise the room and hotel seem acceptable and clean.

Time warp!
Stayed in this same hotel 30+ years ago when in town on business. Fwlt like we were in a time warp and nothing has been touched/updated in 3+ decades. The staff we came in contact with at check in & check out were polite and friendly. Didn’t complain to them because there's not a thing they could have done. The metal bedframe had one front corner leg completely bent so my husband almost rolled off the bed all night. We wadded up the bedspread to shove under there night 2. Towels were the size of postsge stamps. Our feet were filthy after walking barefoot in the room and the pillows underneath the cases had stains we don't want to think of where they came from! You get what you pay for.

I got there and because my licenses says i reside in Ottumwa. I woukd of had to pay $150 just to stay a few hours until check-out. I am in between homes right now and its nonrefundable so you all got $100 without me staying there. Thats $100 i coukd have used for other things. IF YOU WOULD OF HAVE ON THE WEBSITE ITS $150 DEPOSIT FOR AN OTTUMWA RESIDENT YOU ALL WOULNT HAVE GOTTEN MY HARD EARNED MONEY!
