Beautifully restored historic hotel in a beautifulPosted Dec 26, 2015
Pros: Authentic restoration of the hotel, furniture, and other decor.
Cons: The breakfast items could be improved upon and the items kept in good supply. There was only one muffin left. I tried to eat it, but it was very dry
Location: Many summer activities, such as hiking, 4 wheeling etc. Ouray is located in one of the most beautiful places in the west. Thee town is historic.
We stayed at the Beaumont on Christmas Eve. The hotel was beautifully decorated.and the accommodations were fine. Our room decor was beautiful and looked like the historic period of the early 1900's or before.. It snowed while we were there. This, added to the wonderful hotel, made for a special, and memorable, Christmas Eve.

Lovely quaint hotel perfectly situated in town.Posted Nov 18, 2015
Pros: Great location, great town, beautiful antiques, and interesting history.
Cons: Coffee at breakfast was too weak.
Location: Early November was a good time to visit but the railroad was closed for the season.
The hotel and lobby are lovely. Our room was very nice, very comfy bed and good towels. The only downside was the Continental breakfast. The coffee was so weak we didn't want it. Do, we went elsewhere for our breakfast.

Pros: Charming old style.
Cons: Hand towels in BR. Box labeled "rags" is low class.
Location: Great location convenient to explore Ouray and environs.
Excellent in general. Nice renovation, comfortable room. Expected upscale dining in hotel, but found it nearby.

Quality historic restorationPosted Sep 12, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel is a piece of finely restored Americana - maybe better quality than the original! My impression was of authentic history, but with ALL the modern amenities and comforts. If you are just looking for a place to stay, this isn't it. If you are looking for something extraordinary THIS is it.

A week in HeavenPosted Aug 21, 2015
This was a dream come true for us to be able to go back in time and stay at the Beaumont. However, not sacrificing any comforts. The spa lotions, the pillows, the bed , the robes, the tub and on and on. We loved it. We also loved the view from the second floor, breathtaking!

Loved the Historic BeaumontPosted Aug 19, 2015 on Hotels
We loved the Beaumont hotel. The rooms were wonderful! It was great to stay in this historic building. We were disappointed however with the service at the front desk. Also the complementary breakfast wasn't very good compared to other breakfasts we have had at other hotels.
