This hotel is experiencing growing pains! It's going to be awesome- the new hot tubs and pools are beautiful, and the scenery is incredible.
A few shortcomings: the rooms are falling apart- literally. The service is, well, bad (exception of Crystal in dining). Pools: like I said amazing, but attention needs to be paid to safety! Ice is hidden and dangerous. Child slipped on stairs and had bruised, scraped ribs. Hot springs Pools were, for several hours; cool. When you came for the hot springs this is a big disappointment. It was fixed but the larger pool never warmed up leaving many kids and parents bummed. We inquired as to the problem with the pools temperature and at first, they acted as if that was how they were supposed to be (we've been here before, that is untrue), once acknowledged, we were told the breaker was fixed and warming was underway, even offering a phone call when it was back to temp. Instead, we received a text saying that we were welcome to checkout without penalty. Huh?
For both of our visits here, there have been about 3 of the 9 tubs closed for repair or cleaning.
Directions for pool use is nonexistent. Many were covered and we had no idea if we were allowed to use that tub. We learned from other patrons that the elevated tubs are adult only. We even ventured into the new cave with sauna and steam room to later find out it isn't even open to the public yet but there was no signage for us to know that! Hopefully they read their reviews and improve
