I think that a hotel with a great location would want to welcome their guests, encourage them to have a nice stay, and thank their customers for choosing them. Not a word about anything. Just, "Here's your key cards and your room is located down the hall." This set a very negative tone for our entire stay. The weather was great, the swimming pool was okay but falling apart in some sections, but it had a playground and a designated picnic area with grills and umbrellas. I understand that a major storm just blew through the area (almost 7 days before), but when you see a few stars and stripes of the American flag flying in the front a hotel, one begins to wonder what type of owners are these people. Yes, I am from out of town and all the more reason to ensure your guests have a positive experience. There's so much to see and do in the area and it's amazing, but I don't know if I'll come back and that's unfortunate.
