We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Ranch Resort and will definitely be back. The location was perfect. I loved that our room had a fridge, microwave, blow dryer, DirecTV, private balcony, great ocean view, in-room sofa, good water pressure, and comfy bed. The only thing I didn't like was the late check-in time. According to our booking, we couldn't check in until 5 pm so we had to find things to do until we could check in. It wasn't really much of a problem though, but if I had to say one thing I didn't like it would be that. Overall, we had an awesome, relaxing stay & we will be back.

Pretty good stay heated pool was cold and wind whistled through the balcony door that didn’t lock Throughout night is the only complaint I had

Love that this property is right on the beach. Our view was amazing. The heated pool could have been more heated - it honestly didn’t seem heated at all but I could be wrong. It was indoors so that helped to shield from all of the cold this time of year. The property is in the middle of all of the action that OBX has to offer. Convenient to grocery, shopping and outings Overall this property was great and everything that we expected. I will definitely choose to stay here again.

Great location. Shopping and miniature golf are walking distance. Spacious condo with clean rooms and an amazing view. Full size kitchen, dishwasher, washer, dryer, even an ironing board. I was really impressed with the room. The elevator was super slow and was not always working. Air conditioning unit was very loud. Despite the negative, I would stay again.

The location of the property and ocean views from our room were wonderful. I was pleased with the welcome we received when we arrived an hour earlier than check in. I was disappointed with the litter on the dunes that was visible from the balcony.

Property was undergoing renovations. At check in was told that all guests with reservations had been called to inform about renovations in case they wanted to cancel. I checked my phone but had not received a call or voice mail from the property. Had booked 2 oceanfront rooms for 2 nights for us and another couple to attend wedding at property. Second day, the heat was not working so I reported it at 1:30 when we went down for wedding. Returned to room that evening to find that it had not been checked. That night we had no heat (temp in the 30's), were moved to another room which had no heat either. Were then transferred to a basic room which had heat. The other couple travelling with us had no heat in their room either. Refund was given by Expedia for both rooms, but not sure if it was fair because there was no explanation as to how it was calculated. Otherwise property was older but clean, in a good location. Staff seemed overworked. Perhaps our experience would have been different if renovations were not ongoing.

I stay at this hotel when I Birdwatch in the winter in the Outer Banks. When I book with Expedia, I get a $20 coupon that I use for their excellent breakfast. Their Wi-Fi is very fast. They have Turner classic movies. The place is always clean and the staff is very accommodating and kind.

Pool was warm, but pool room was freezing & no hot-tub, so did not use the pool. Hideabed couch was uncomfortable for sitting, cushions worn out, needed extra pillows to sit comfortably. Other chair was not the greatest either. Bed sheets were the roughest linen I have experienced in many years of travel. View was awesome, but we would not recommend this hotel...

A Good Hotel
Good: Friendly staff, very clean room, perfect location, easy parking, warm pool in the winter. No surprises with fees, also they gave us a $20 coupon for the restaurant, which in the summer has great outdoor seating. Eh: Room has not been updated in awhile, so no USB ports, and everything is just older. Bed is okay in comfort.
