Unfortunately there is construction going on at the property. We were given a room on 2nd floor close to the construction. One of the workers (very congenial and respectful) stated that the exit door near to the stairway on the 2nd floor would not lock at night as they would be relacing the door. I felt that a safety issue. I was already displeased that the room hadn't been cleaned well and floor vacuumed, bathroom floor had footprints on it. I then requested a room change. We were moved to a room in a different part of the hotel. The room was cleaner, floors vacuumed well but the TV didn't work. The very kind person at the front desk talked us through what we had done 3 times and still didn't work. She moved us to another room where again, the TV didn't work. Unfortunaty, the only other option was the first room where I felt unsafe. Again the young woman at the front desk couldn't have vlbeen kinder. I felt very bad for her as this was out of her control. We left as soon as possilbe in the AM. I would not recommend staying at the Eloquence, hopefully it will be better when their renovations are completed. 1 star rating, not worth the headache and stress. We were told that the hotel has a new cable system which has been problematic in some rooms. Not a good scenario.

Second worst place I have stayed at.
Horrible. Rooms were under construction and building was torn down. This is an old La Quinta hotel that is being converted to a long term room rental. How it got an 8 rating I’d beyond me. The exterior has really deteriorated and the swimming pool has plants growing ong the tarp covering it. The only good thing I can say about this place was the business like young lady receptionists. I have only been to one other hotel similar to this one that I have considered hotel. Com wrong to have this type of hotel listed. I can only say buyer beware.

I understand that the property is being remodeled, but breakfast was awful. There is no plug in by the desk for computers. The coffee maker was not plugged in and had no easy access to a plug in.

Our room was clean & was very quiet overall (only heard slight drilling in the morning BUT they are also remodeling so we understood!). One thing that really stood out was how friendly & helpful the staff was. The room was plenty big & the balcony was a great bonus! For the price, it was a great stay.
