Large hotel close to highway

Hotel was centrally located for our activities and close to highway. Room was nice but poorly painted or remodeled.

Needs major cleaning and upgrades

Cobwebs everywhere, spiders and water bugs in bathroom. Kitchen poorly appointed. Couch so dirty looking wouldn't sit on it. Pool really looked grungy. Landscaping poor. Exterior of buildings paint splattered in places, vents broken, screendoors broken, rotting wood on some balconies. Website does not accurately describe this place and Wyndham and Expedia should revoke sponsorship of this hotel until there is a major refurb.

I am very distraught to read your comments, as the issues raised are certainly not in keeping with the standards, quality and customer care normally associated with the Hawthorn Suites. I believe at the time of your visit our pool had closed for the season. (It closes Labor day week.) Also, we have began our renovation project. In the next couple of weeks we will be getting a face lift to give us a more modern look and feel inside and out. We will be replacing carpeting and furnishings, repainting wall and updating accessories. Please accept my sincere apologies for the shortfalls experienced on this occasion. Terrible

This was one, if not the worst, hotel experiences and rooms that I have ever experienced. We checkred out early and would not have stayed even one night if it had not been late when we checked in. The room was not good at all; it smelled bad, very musty and it was dirty: hair and dead bugs in bathroom, stained comforter, spots of 'stuff' stuck on the wall, where paint had been touched up it did not match other paint colors, Carpet was very worn. Was really surprised and disappointed that Wyndam would have name on property. Staff did not even inquire as to why we checked out early.

Cons: put screens on the windows

there was no screens on the window it was nice and cool out I was worried about my boys falling out of the window we was on 3rd floor

Clean beautiful & quite

We have been here about a week...first couple of days was amazing..the Hotel staffs are Great! The room was so clean & spacious & 2days the room was being cleaning very very well.. but the problem I have is that our room wasn't being vacuum sheets wasn't being change pillowcase either. The hot tub smell so bad. Other than that..overall it's an amazing place! Love it here!

Calm quite location

Great room no smell but if u have bad allergies then make sure u take meds cuz I don't know if was the air condition unit filter but I had terrible allergies !!

Room was a last-minute Expedia chance! Lol We were pleasantly surprised at getting a nice-sized suite for $88/night! Room was fine, hotel needs some serious updating. We will probably stay here again.
