Cons: Cleanliness!
The room was very disappointing. Just dirty. Bathroom curtain and spa tub had orange residue indicating that it hasn't been cleaned for some time. Felt dirtier coming out of the shower than going in!

Nothing is within walking distance. The resort looks run down from the outside and the staff were cold and completely not helpful with information about the area. The poorest customer service I have ever seen

Ski out condo

Cozy studio condo adjacent to slopes. Nice to have full kitchen, too. Have stayed there many times. Fabulous skiing at Blue Mt.

The 70's called and they want their room back

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: rents for 1 night; most hotels want two night rentals on weekends. It was within walking distance of a party we were invited to.
Cons: all new furniture. Use room keys or cards for unit access. Shovel the outdoor stairs.
What we got was nothing like what was pictured. It was dated and cheap, though large enough. mattresses were extremely old and thin and access was a Pin Number which I am guessing doesn't change because the PIN was the room number (I'm guessing I could have accessed any unit if I had tried). It was the only place within Blue Mountain we could find that would rent for just one night. Access was up a set of snow covered outdoor stairs. windows couldn't open.

It was okay for the price....

Posted Jan 3, 2015 on Hotels
This resort is in need of some TLC. Difficult to do since the resort management doesn't take responsibility for items in your condo, as they are privately owned. We had 7 spatula's, not one mixing bowl. No oven mitts. gross looking pots, pans and cookie sheets. We found a few glasses and a frying pan that still had 'food' left on it. It clearly wasn't cleaned. Although it is the responsibility of the last occupants to run the dishwasher and clean all dishes etc, I would have expected that dishes would be checked after each visit to ensure everything was cleaned. Paint was peeling in bathrooms and some of the cabinets in the kitchen were coming apart. There was no storage for food in any of the cupboards. Although the room description said that it would sleep 6 - as it did have 2 pull out couches - you would have to rearrange the room in order to open both beds out. However, I slept on the pull out couch one night and had several springs poking me all over. Even my 80 lbs child complained of aches from sleeping on the couch. Another let down was that on the resort home webpage, there was a picture of two children swimming in the pool in the winter time. I should have been more diligent and read the fine print, the pool isn't open in the winter time. I saw this as false advertising. Mountain Springs was okay for the price (the discounted price I got through Hotels.com) I think I would try another place to stay next time we are at Blue Mountain.

Dear Colleen, thank you for your feedback. We just wanted to clarify that only type of room that we advertise on hotels.com is a studio condo which consists of one queen bed and one sofa bed and one bathroom. Since you indicated that you are bringing children, you were situated in two level condo with two bathrooms as compliments of the hotel. We will double check pictures posted as pool is only open in summer months as it was not energy efficient to keep it open in winter months. We do have outdoor hot tub on site that is open year round. We hope you enjoyed activities and that you had a chance to visit our new restaurant. Thank you

Hope it would have the hot spring pool, but it did not open. You cannot ski-in and ski-out actually. staffs are friendly ,and room is clean and quiet.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed interactions with our staff and that room was to your satisfaction. Our out door hot tub is open year round and it is inspected daily. Sometimes, delay in openings are due to technical nature of water maintenance as we wish to offer safe enjoyment to all of our guests. We also have heated outdoor pool that is open in summer months and hope to have you stay with us again. Thank you

needs overhaul and more staff

Posted Dec 30, 2014
Pros: location was short ride away
Cons: more staff complete refurbishing
3 rooms, 803, 804, 803 = a LOT of money for one night all rooms need upgrading - walls, furniture, fixtures are old and tired cleaning staff did not come because the linen delivery truck had an accident - not my problem - theirs (borrow, steal, get it!) did not give us breakfast vouchers, had to ask - waiter smelled of booze and had to serve the entire place by himself - took 2 hours have stayed before without these problems - will not return

Thank you for your feedback. It was very unfortunate that linen truck suffered accident and was delayed by several hours. While we understand your frustration as you are our guest, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that have caused you, luckily driver was not hurt which was a major concern at that time. we recently opened our new restaurant and complimentary breakfast program was to commence in New Year. We are pleased to know that staff issued you complimentary breakfast vouchers and that you enjoyed the food. Thanks again for your feedback
