Convenient location

Overall this was a nice hotel and we would stay here again. In our room, the walls were scratched, bad wall patching, base of shower needed to be recaulked, and we could hear the cars on the roadway early in the morning. The fitness room was adequate, hotel room was comfortable, breakfast had good choices, and the staff was friendly.

Nice Hotel

Cons: The Breakfast service staff
Location: Near restaurants, gas stations, and stores, but not in the middle of the chaos of the main shopping area.
Front Desk staff were excellent. Have helpful and bright and cheerful. The Breakfast service staff on the other hand left a lot to be desired. The one even sat down to eat her own breakfast and text friends while a number of food items were empty --- including her taking the last of the eggs and not refilling them??? Room was nice and comfortable --- though had an odd smell that seemed out of place in a non-smoking room. Overall, a good value.

Room was great except that there was no iron. The front desk clerk located one and even plugged it in a bit to test it. However, when I tried to use it, it never fully heated up, so I gave up on ironing; maybe buy better irons. The breakfast staff replenished the bacon as I asked (close to closing time). However - it was annoying to find that when they closed the kitchen, customers also could not access the orange juice machine or any other drinks. Other hotels allow accessibility to that after food hours; would be a good idea here also.
