Good price/accommodation ratio

Our room was clean and had all the conveniences you would expect for the cost. The floors had new carpeting but sagged as you walked across them, much like an old house.

Very clean room, friendly staff. Free hot breakfast was much more than expected. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here to attend the race at Talladega. Close enough to the track. Clean Room, Easy check in/check out experience

Pros: STAFF. PROFESSIONAL, BUT FRIENDLY.
Cons: SIZE OF BATHROOM .
CONVENIENT TO LOCATION OF INTEREST. STAFF FRIENDLY. ROOM VERY CLEAN. BATHROOM TOO SMALL AND CRAMPED. OTHERWISE, VERY NICE FACILITY.

Over rated

Had to evacuate for the hurricane and booked this hotel online based on the Star Rating, pictures and reviews. I thought I had a gem! This hotel is very old but has been painted to make it look new. The room I stayed in had very poor drywall repair work, it was not filled in appropriately nor sanded down, just painted. The tub was old and should've been replaced, instead, it was painted! When taking a bath, paint chips would be in the bath water. The hotel is only one story but it has wooden floors. As I walked to the bathroom, the floor had a weak spot in it and gave me the impression that if I weren't careful, I might fall through. The guest laundryroom is simply a washer and dryer located outside on the sidewalk next to the pool. I can go on but I won't. Avoid this hotel if you like staying in nice places. I'm not sure who they paid to give them a 4.0 Star Rating but this was ridiculous! I didn't want to stay but they told me that regardless if I stayed or not, I'd still be charged.

The staff was wonderful and friendly. The room was very nice with the exception of the bathroom. I could use some updating. The breakfast was really good. My overall experience was excellent.

We were in town for one night for a funeral. Did not get to research a lot. The staff were very nice. It took some very close listening, especially on the phone, to understand their English. But it was a very old motel that had new paint very thickly applied. It was clean enough. No bugs, but there was about an inch of dust along the baseboards at the head of the bed (visible). I did not crawl under the bed. I saw one hair in the shower, although it had been "cleaned."
