The front desk gave a room key to a MY ROOM . My wife was alone when a strange man walked into our room. Front desk manager said simple mistake glitches in the system no big deal. Bullhockey it is a big deal. This is the second FairField this has happened to us booked by Expedia. Front management only wants to comp the room this is not enough or acceptable. I expect more from Fairfield and Expedia. Top management has to speak with before check out. It would be nice if you talked to me as well. Thank you

Overall decent even the staff sleep there…
The overall stay was not bad. The downfall was that when we checked in it was a downpour. Which I know is not anyone’s fault except that when we went to go inside (at 2 or so am) the door was locked and no one around to let us in. We had traveled all night and were exhausted. We called the hotel itself and the phone rang and rang. We tried calling hotels.com customer service they were no help just said well go find another hotel. The problem was it was a college championship going on and there were no other hotels that had availability. We banged and banged on the front door until finally a woman woke up off the dining chairs and let us in. I spoke to management she said she would offer some type of reward points etc but I never have seen a thing. I get that it was late but isn’t that their job to watch the front incase there was any problems!?

I was not given the type of room I booked. I booked two queen beds and got a king with a pull out couch that was a twin size. It was not a huge deal and it worked out fine, but it is not what I booked. And the bed and pull out were very uncomfortable. I won’t book there again for those reasons. It was very clean though. And the shower was amazing!

The fire alarm woke us up at 2:15 am on Friday morning and we had to get up and leave the building and stay out until the fire department cleared the building. Again on Saturday morning at 6:15 am the fire alarm woke us and we had to leave the building again for them to clear the building. After returning to our room about 20 - 30 minutes later it happened again so we just decided at this point just to gather all our belongings and just leave. For the two nights we stayed there we got little sleep and we were tired and just ready to leave. We did ask that our rate be refunded or at least discounted and was told we would have to speak with their manager who was no there at that time. We will be call them as soon as possible.

The room I reserved (king bed with pullout sofa) was changed to a queen bed with no sofa without notifying me of the change. The desk lamp had a burnt out bulb and I had to ask twice to get the bulb replaced. Lastly, there was no hot water when I arrived and I had to wait while the maintenance people fixed the hot water. This made me late for my appointment.

When you checked in and we explained that we had a king room out of order and we changed you reservation to a room with 2 Queen beds and reduced your rate by 50.00 you where fine with that. When you came to the front desk to report the issue it was 30 minutes and we fixed it immediately.

Room and staff were good, pretty standard. But absolutely no hot water in the hotel was not a pleasant surprise. They claimed it would be working by 8 pm last night but tried to shower around 11pm last night and again this morning and there was still no hot water

The ceiling tile in the lobby from 2nd floor fell and crumbled on top of my 79 year old mother who was sitting on a sofa in the lobby. The staff said nothing. The safe in the room did not work. The fire alarm in my room sounded off twice, at 11:30pm and 4am. The walls are paper thin as I heard the people partying next door from 2-3am, and out in the hall. The AC in my room didn’t work that great.

Pool was closed, we were not aware of this before arrival. Room was ok, but we were give only 2 towels in room for 4 people. You could hear everything on hallway at night, including the elevator bell. TV didn’t work in one room, Phone didn’t work in the other. No maid service. And we Ran out of toilet paper, no extra in room. Overall very disappointing.

There wasn't anything to see in the area, but that wasn't the hotels fault. A lot of eating places to choice from without having to get back in the car.

We've stayed here a couple of times. This time was a little off, but still a good stay. We had to wait on a staff member several times, and the breakfast was missing fresh fruit and the waffle maker was broken - the two most important items for me. Nice room & comfortable bed.
