Do not book this "Hotel"Posted May 6, 2014 on Orbitz
I had booked a room at the Liberty Inn for the weekend of the Talladega Race. I checked in and promptly checked back out as the room was not fit for habitation(holes in the flooring, dents in the wall, someone's hack job of a kintchenette? Cabinet, shoddy surround in shower with exposed screw heads with rust trails, the path way to room reeked of urine, property obviously falling into disrepair) when I voiced my concerns to hotel clerk he looked at me as if I was crazy. This is the most rundown dirty Hotel/Motel I have ever seen that was still in business. I had booked due to semi positive reviews they must have been about some other establishment as I could find no redeeming qualities and I even called the local Board of Health as this Hotel should not be renting rooms to anyone without serious rehab and clean-up.

Very Nice Motel and Very Friendly StaffPosted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: I liked the location it is easy to get to and close to a lot of place to eat and access to getting to the interstate roads.
Cons: They need to pull out the refrigerator and vacuum in back of it and on the sides better
Location: The town of Oxford has a beautiful Park. It is very close to the Talladega Superspeedway, and close to interstate when traveling that means alot
I had booked the motel for a Saturday and Sunday but found that I was arriving there on Friday. I called and asked if they had the same room I had reserved available for Friday and they did and got to book it for another day without having to move my belongings twice. they made it very easy for me. .The Staff was very nice and helpful. and I would recommend The Liberty Inn to everybody I know.

Hope to not visit againPosted Oct 8, 2012
Pros: Not to far from race track and restraunts
Cons: The room conditions and housekeeping.
Location: Location was okay
The outlet did not work to make coffee. Not enough light in the room. Did not leave all bathroom items for including towels the next day. If you touched the lamp the shade would fall off. Not enough outlets for use to plug in telephones etc.

While this Motel was clean, it needs some repairs. The electrical outlets are not available to reach without moving head board on bed. Wireless was not functioning even after getting password. Major bummer. I only paid $42 with tax, so I'm not complaining too much.
