Gorgeous Views of OceanPosted Oct 23, 2015
Pros: Very close to beach, great view of the surf and nice amenities. Great coffee shop next door and local pub across the street at the beach.
Cons: No complaints.
Location: I was in the area for kayaking, but there's also great hiking, surfing, walking on the beach and generally enjoying the incredible scenery.
I stayed at the Inn for a one-night splurge before moving to the campground next door, and it was everything I wanted it to be. Awesome view, nice service, spacious and comfortable, beautiful linens and down pillows, refrigerator, wine glasses. Would be nice for a romantic weekend.

Nice place near Pacific CityPosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: They have a large selection of DVDs to borrow. There is a coffee maker and good coffee in the room.
Cons: No restaurant and no option of breakfast at the hotel.
Location: There are restaurants and a small market near the hotel.
The Inn is well maintained and comfortable. Beautiful views of the ocean.

Beautiful views from a delightful, cozy inn!Posted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: It was cozy but spacious, very nicely decorated, and it was right across from a beautiful beach. The views were splendid!
Cons: Having a table and a cushion or two on the balcony would be nice.
Location: We loved the location! We walked the beach, ate 3 or 4 meals at the Pelican Inn, climbed sand dunes to walk atop the cape, & enjoyed the dory culture.
My friend and I were so delighted with the accommodations at the Cape Kiwanda Inn! The views from our balcony of the ocean, the cape, sunset, and the large offshore "stack" were superb! We enjoyed having a small but very usable kitchen, complete with microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator and sink. We loved having easy access to the gorgeous beach and the Pelican Inn, which satisfied our desire to consume scrumptious, fresh seafood outside by the beach! It was just the kind of relaxing coastal getaway we were looking for!

Nice hotel, convenient location. A little noisyPosted Jul 23, 2015
Location: Climbing, hiking on cape kiwanda was awesome, did a one-hour horse-back ride at Green Acres for the girls, they loved it, and that made me look good!
The room was a bit odiferous, and the bathtub didn't drain....great view from the room, and it was nice having a little store adjacent to the property. The Pelican restaurant was nice, but too expensive...$8 for 4 onion rings, $16 burgers type-of-place...Glad we stayed there, but will probably seek a property with pool and jacuzzi next time.

Great stayPosted Jul 14, 2015
I highly recommend this hotel. Fantastic view and plenty to do during the day. Excellent brew pub across the street and wonderful breakfast joint only a mile away. Very friendly staff. If I ever get back to Oregon, I'm staying here. Syd from Alabama.

Boutique Motel with a great ocean viewPosted Jul 13, 2015
We had a very comfortable room with a great view of the beach and a signature view along the Oregon Coast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They showcased the amenities of the motel, and made it easy for us to check out movies from their video library (nice selection and recent enough releases). The Inn is located across the street from a huge Micro Brew Pub with a deck onto the public beach. The views from the room and balcony are terrific. We loved gazing at the view. The view is across a reasonably quiet street, but the street is not in view from our 2nd floor room. We loved having the patio door open, for the ocean breezes and we could even hear the surf at night, however we had to close the door to sleep, because of the noise from the periodic passing car on the road below. With the windows closed, we did not hear the sound from the road. The room is air conditioned (& has a remote control) for when we weren't using Oregon's natural air conditioning.

Treat yourself to a perfect Oregon beach!Posted Jul 10, 2015 on Hotels
Very nice room, clean linens and ample towels, big tub/shower with extended curtain, firm King size bed with sofa, and most importantly, LOCATION,LOCATION,LOCATION!!! Right across the street from the Cape Kiwanda Beach, you can walk to the beach and Pacific Ocean, and while you are at it, have a meal at Pelican Pub & Brewery! Their food is great and beer is award winning! Things are a bit more spendy than other accommodations along the Oregon Coast, but well worth it. Be sure to book your reservation well in advance to guarantee your stay. It is stunningly gorgeous there!!!
