Nice!

Thu night was very slow. No one in the cottages around. But nice cottage though.

Great - the fireplace door was missing part of the screen, but other than great.

Pleasant stay, terrible wifi

Check in was flawless. I changed my room due to a barking dog in the adjacent room. First room had hardwood floors. This room has carpet in good condition. TV is fuzzy and the WiFi is terrible. Price was good and would recommend this place to everyone. Forgot to mention a cemetery is your view from the patio doors. It's dark out anyways so not that important.

Not worth the high price

Been going to Lighthouse for several years. Has had its ups and downs. Finally we are tired of it. The cost is so much higher than all the surrounding hotels and inns you'd think it was a lot fancier than it is. The cottages which is where we stay are really cute; but I guess you have to request cleaning. Left my room at 9am returned 2pm. Towels gone but room not made. What? No assigned parking. So everyone in the place including restaurant are parking in front of your cottage. Never mind you have to carry your stuff across the parking lot for everything. Already found just as nice or maybe nicer place for WAY less money. Oh and the TV's are bad; unable to watch rented movie because the service kept turning off. Not to mention the quality fuzzy.

Very basic but clean and easy. The location is good, don’t expect much from the continental breakfast.

Pros: Great breakfast.
Cons: n/a
Location: Good location near village shopping and shore.
Nice motel close to shopping and shore. Cottages are very nice and close to breakfast room.

Great Place for a Nice Get-away

We had a wonderful time in Pacific Grove at this hotel. The room was large and the slider door gave us a nice view. Service was much more than adequate, and the location perfect!

We switched from another hotel in town because this place looked and sounded great online. But we were disappointed to see that the room was nothing spectacular and the whole place seemed a little run down or not kept up. The staff told us the pool and spa were heated. The pool was not and there wasn't even any water in the spa. The breakfast was bland and less than we had experienced in our week and a half of travel. Overall we should have stayed at the previous hotel. The best part was the deer roaming in the cemetery outback. It was not worth the $170 a night let alone the full price.
