the staff was nice on arrival . it was an ok place. It was clean. I would recommend reading some of the other reviews. The comments about the sliding glass doors are valid, and there is a musty odor also mentioned in the comments is also true. The shutters on the doors are ridiculous. Other than that it was ok. Its very convient to everywhere In PG and Monterey . I would actually stay their again , but not my first choice.

Olympia Lodge is located in such a beautiful location with the beach only blocks away. The room is on the older side but feels clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful, parking is free and they even had to go breakfast boxes that we were not expecting.

Really enjoyed my stay here. It was walkable to some areas we wanted to go to. However the cleaning lady are the nicest and would make sure we had everything we needed.

The folks at check in are very professional and kind. Made the experience that much better...nice rooms. Could use some artwork on the walls for a face lift. Love the nice shudders.

Great room, clean and comfortable, Vic was super helpful and made our check in easy! Parking on site which was handy as we had a car. Plenty of restaurants down the road and close to the beach and town.

The area was calm. So calm that we saw 3 deers from the parking lot. The "breakfast" could of been better, the crossaint and palmier were stale and the two mints were strange. Maybe some yogurt or boxed cereal would've been better. They don't get stale. And we didn't really have a door door, just a sliding door. But the rooms were clean just had a moist smell. The heater works well and we couldn't hear our neighbors. All in all a solid 3 of 5.

Room was clean but unimpressive, which makes sense given it’s a more affordable option. Decor is a bit tired and worn and rooms feel rather austere. Staff was efficient and friendly. Main room for improvement was noise. It was easy to hear water pipes and neighboring guests through the walls, and housekeeping and cleaning staff get started quite early, which was also noisy. One morning someone started running a leaf blower on the property around 9 a.m., well before checkout time (not ideal for those who like to sleep in a bit). Overall, it’s a decently average/okay place to stay.

Everyone we met was very nice and helpful. Vic at the front desk was great, and even offered an early check because our rooms were going to be ready that morning. There is a coffee shop next door, and the lighthouse and trail is about a 5 minute walk.

The office staff were polite and very friendly. We enjoyed our visit there. Walked into Pacific Grove and checked out the town. Also walked to the beach🏖. We saw deers and lots of different birds. The sunset's were so beautiful.

I was there 'off season', so it was just incredibly quiet. I really appreciate that. My room had a view out to the ocean, which was about a half-mile away. This is just a beautiful area of California, and the people are very nice. The Olympia Lodge is located next door to "Lucy's on Lighthouse", which has excellent espresso drinks, creative hot dogs that are tasty, and excellent breakfast burritos on the weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable. I very much enjoyed my stay.

We initially booked for the closness to the tide pools and the price. Now that we've been.... we loved it. Beds are a little stiff but not the worst and no table in the room made eating a little difficult but otherwise great. Our 8yr old was SO happy to see the deer outside this morning. We'll definitely visit again.

Wonderful short stay.

Okay property if you’re just looking for a place to sleep. Sliding glass doors as your main entrance was a bit different. Unable to let fresh air in at night. Tub was weak in middle, I thought I was going to call thru the lower floor. End of the day can’t beat it for the price.
