Very quiet, very clean rooms. Wood burning fireplaces during cold nights was great! Great light breakfast in the morning. Staff was great, very helpful. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Nice property, very clean and quiet. The decor is older but still good enough. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good enough to get going. A great location thru the Asilomar center to the ocean.

This rustic inn, right across from Asilomar Conference Grounds and Beach, was perfect for our weekend stay in Pacific Grove. We had stayed here many times in the past, and enjoyed our return visit. The room, although showing its age, was spacious, had a wood burning fireplace, extra blankets, decent wifi, and the usual amenities. The breakfast was quite nice, with locally made pastries and good coffee along with the other usual offerings. We really enjoyed the hot tub, soaking in the hot water on a cool night, under a full moon. Towels were provided, and the area was clean and safely lit. We walked the 7 minutes through the Asilomar grounds to the beach for a lovely sunset and moonrise and a pleasant walk along the trails as the light faded. All in all, a lovely place to spend a few days.

Wood fireplace with simple gas lighter, made it cozy and comfortable. Room was clean and comfy, but plain (other than the fireplace). Hot tub outside was really nice.

We love this property. It was close to walk to the beach. The staff was great; especially the overnight attendant. Our son got ill and we needed new linens and extra towels and the night desk clerk was so kind about all of it. Clean room and an actual cleaning service that still does daily clean ups of the room! I haven’t seen that in a few years. Definitely will come back.

Excellent location with immediate access to Asilomar State Park and Beach. Great for dogs. Another favorite coastline for dogs is Carmel River State Beach. Beautiful!!!

Beautiful Gardens Inn
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a fireplace we were able to use since the morning was very cool. Breakfast was good. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone!

Overpriced. Stayed here as a kid with my parents and wow 20 years and nothings new. Need to update rooms, furniture and towels seemed to be the same age as the hotel. Not worth the price

I've stayed at most of the motels in this area. Pacific Gardens isn't as nice as some but, the rates are reasonable. Some of the room fixtures; sink, shower, etc. a bit worn. Too warm to use the fireplace but, nice fixture. Rooms have most appliances you need for an extended stay and included air pop, popcorn maker as a signature touch. Staff was friendly and helpful.. Did not make it for breadfast or evening wine social but, those are offered. Overall good value in a great location. Will concider for future visits.

This is one of those special hotels. The whole experience is nice. It’s not trying to be upscale, but everything is an upgrade from the budget places on Munras. The fireplaces, the breakfast and happy hour wine, and the short walk to the beach right across the street. Even the basic room is spacious. It feels like you’re in nature, but you’re only a few minutes from Cannery Row. Most of all it’s the staff. When my child had a medical emergency, the staff made me feel cared about. This is my new go-to hotel.
