This hotel definitely fit the bill for us. We came down to WA for a baseball tournament. The hotel was centrally located, staff was friendly and accommodating, breakfast was good, room was clean. My kids enjoyed the pool. The hotel was surprisingly quiet for such a large hotel, close to a freeway. We would stay here again for sure.

Rude staff. They will try to scam you!

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything! Hire honest staff. Have a good manager on duty at all times.
Location: Nothing
Terrible hotel and children running it on the weekend. Had no rooms for pets which they did not disclose so apparently they put us in a non pet room. Didn't think much about what room they assigned us. 1.5 hours (9:30pm) they called us saying they need 200.00 cash fee to clean the room since its a non pet room. That's just crazy! We already paid 201.00 for the night. Tried to make sense of what was going on but couldn't get 2 words in ever on the phone as the young girl on the phone named McKayla was aggressive and spoke nonstop at all times during call. when I was asking about the check in process and pet disclosure. She hung up on us! She should have contacted expedia for a refund at check in so we could go to another hotel if they could not accommodate us with our dog so we could find another hotel in Auburn that could. Instead they put us in a room then a bit later asked us for 200. If we did not pay them cash, we needed to leave. We checked out between 11:30pm and 12am. We contacted expedia for a refund and they did nothing about it after being on the phone and on hold with them 2 hours. They led me to believe they were speaking to the general manager of the hotel that works Monday through Friday. Really upset with the scam and expedia not taking care of us and keeping our money!

Christine: Sorry to hear that you had not informed the hotel of your request for a pet room, as stated in our information we do have pet rooms there is a fee associated with having a pet and a limit on the size and breed of animal. There was no scam and employees followed policies of the hotel for all guests safety. Thank you

Not quite what we were expecting

Posted Aug 8, 2017
I honestly picked this hotel because of the 24hr access to the pool and hot tub as nothing beats a good soak after a day at the races. We come every year and picked this hotel to try because of it. Unfortunately the hot tub was luke warm and not usable. The pool area was also dirty. The continental breakfast is not great - just lower quality food than other hotels we've stayed at in Auburn & Kent for the races every year. Staff was very pleasant and nice to interact with, no complaints there!

If you are going to the amphitheater for a concert you can't beat the convenience of this location. Hotel staff are super-friendly and the breakfast crew will make sure you're topped up before you head out again. We'd all stay here again.

Clean, newly renovations, fresh coffee and cookies and fruit in the lobby, front desk check in was professional, friendly, and quick, breakfast in the morning was good (bacon eggs sausage muffins biscuits and gravy cereals yogurt etc etc) and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Quiet and safe. Will return.
