Cozy Home and Elk Neighbors
Met up with family for a weekend escape of exploring Mt Rainier and Packwood area. It didn't disappoint. Donna's place was a small but cozy retreat meeting all of our needs. We were greeted by neighboring elk in the morning and upon return in the eve. As another guest said, we came prepared for cleaning due to COVID but found we didn't need worry. It was clean and tidy. Plenty of cleaning products provided if you wanted to do extra and hand sanitizer at the entrance to use as you came and went. Would note that the upstairs room with beds is accessed by stairs just within one of the bedrooms. Worked well for our family unit with our 20 year old who liked the private space upstairs. Thanks to the hosts for all your hospitality!!

A Warm, Home-y and Comfortable Cabin
My family and I had a wonderful weekend here! The hosts had welcome chocolates that we all enjoyed, and a nice little thank you card for staying with them! The beds were very comfortable and they had stuffed toys on all of them, which our little kids liked! The bathroom had a lot of bath towels, including hand and face towels for all of us. The hosts Donna and Richard visited us on our last day to meet us and also ask us if everything was good. It was also easy to contact Donna if we needed anything. The elks are also a welcome view! Thank you for being great hosts!

Comfortable Stay
We were greeted with a welcome card and chocolates! Donna and Richard, thought of everything. Due to Covid, I came prepared to be totally self sufficient with cleaning products, linens, and utensils...there was no need. The house was clean, and they provided Clorox wipes to keep high touch areas wiped down throughout our stay! It’s a fun house to stay in, close dining to walk to, elk to see and just peace and quiet in the giant fenced yard. We felt right at home and hope to return!

5/5 Excellent

Everything you need
Communication with the owner was great, no problems getting in or out. Clean house and lovely dish of candy welcomed us when we arrived. We were a little worried it was going to be too hot to sleep upstairs, but the air conditioners up there did the job. House is older/dated in some areas but sound and charming. TV system worked great and the kitchen is well stocked. House is near everything and it was really cool watching the elk.
