Great location

Posted Aug 11, 2017
Pros: Location, cleanliness, service
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Close to Paddington Station - great area with pubs and shops. Very close to Hyde and Kensington Parks. We walked everywhere and saw a lot of London!
Check in and out was quick and simple. The hotel was clean, wifi connection not great but could always get wifi in the lounge. Breakfast was simple and would be nicer if it included fruit and good coffee. When checking out, they kept our luggage for us until it was time to depart via Paddington Station to the airport. Over all, a much better hotel in a much better location than we imagined for the price.

Needs Better Customer Service

Posted Jul 28, 2017
Pros: Convenient location to Paddington Station and surrounding commercial area.
Cons: Customer service particularly towel changes if & when requested, Guests shouldn't be forced to use a towel for more than 1 day if they dont want to
Location: Great location, very convenient, 5 min walk from Paddington Station, which is surrounded by lots of small shops, convenience stores, and restaurants.
The facilities are OK and acceptable, no frills and nothing fancy. Basically a place to sleep at night after a long day of touring London. Dealt with about 8 staff members, 6 of whom were nice and cordial, but the other 2 (1 of which might have been the owner) were a bit on the obnoxious side, specially when all we asked for very politely was for a towel change. Hotel Management acted as if towels were "GOLD" and refused to change our towels daily, and said they would only do so every other day, which also did not happen. So that was very frustrating. Because rooms are very expensive and in high demand during peak tourist season, there isn't much one can do to complain, and I'm sure hotel management knows this so they dont feel the need to cater to their customers or keep them happy. But if one is expecting a high quality of customer service and hotel amenities that are standard in the US, then this hotel is not for you and you might be better off with the Days Inn or Best Western right beside it on Sussex Gardens Road.

No customer service at all from hotel staff. Room was very small but was ok for somewhere to sleep. Room very clean and tidy In a great position to get to Paddington station and Heathrow airport.

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Breakfast
My ratings look OK, but would not recommend hotel because of meager and cheaply-bought breakfast items on continental breakfast table.

Great location. Great price. Basic Rooms & B/Fast

Posted Jun 22, 2017
Pros: Good staff. Excellent location
Cons: Breakfast is basic with cold cuts/corn flakes/eggs (boiled only)
Location: Lot of restaurants nearby. Paddington station in 2mins away. Hyde park is a 4/5min walk
Triple room was big in size considering hotel room sizes in london. Staff is excellent and very helpful/friendly. Allowed us to stay for longer beyond checkout. Breakfast is basic with cold cuts/corn flakes/eggs (boiled only) Location is excellent. Close to bus/train/tube - paddington/sussex gardens

Great location, clean but small room.

Posted May 24, 2017
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Wifi privileges.
Location: Walking distance to the underground, Hyde Park and restaurants.
I arrived early at the Olympic House Hotel but the staff were very accommodating. Settled in nicely on a clean but very small single room. The location of the hotel was also very convenient as it is close to public transportation and restaurants.
