Igea has been the same for many years, always reliable. The rooms are simple and comfortable and there is a filling breakfast on offer. The location is quiet and very close to the Basilica of St Anthony and the hospital, and a short walk to the centre. I would like it if the shower didn't veer between cold and boiling.

Helpful staff
Stayed one night at the Hotel Igea. Good walkable location to main amenities in Padua. Hotel is a bit dated but fitted the purpose. Staff was friendly and helpful and the lady at the front desk allowed us to check out at 12pm as my son didn’t have a good sleep. They help us calling a taxi to the station.

Single night stay. Well situated
Stopping over in Padova for 1 night. The hotel is clean and well located near bus stops and restaurants. The city center and piazza’s are a short walk away. The hotel is older but functional and very welcoming.

Relaxing stay - grazie!
I had a great time staying here. Friendly staff, very comfy and relaxing room (nice air conditioning as it was very hot in Padua while I was there), and the location is really good too (near to bus stop and easy to reach train station), basilica and the main pedestrian area). I will stay here again. Thank you so much!

Had a sign on mirror that the hotel is super heating the water at night to prevent Legionaire Disease. we should have been notified.

Please call me. I found signs in the bathroom about disinfection of legionella. If that is necessary the hotel should be closed. The property lies to me and said it’s required by city Of Padua. According to their hospital and nearby hotels that’s not true. I called orbitz - I understand that they needed to speak with someone at hotel who spoke English. I was suppossed to get return phone calls from orbitz or the property. Neither called me back.

Dear Guest, nobody lies to you, what I told you and I repeat clearly in this public spot is that there is no legionella warning, the message is to avoid high temperature water during the night. Our duty is to advice people, but people's duty is to understand a message don't radically change it. You have been refund in the end and what we got from you is this mendacity. Thank you

Il y a mieux mais c est plus cher !!!!
Il manquait un appareil pour faire bouillir de l eau pour un cafe ou un the....les employes etaient tres sympa....l entree de l immeuble et les couloirs sont assez tristes, il faudrait restaurer ..beaucoup de bruit la nuit pour les chambres qui donnent sur la rue..le prix est tres correct...12 minutes du centre ville ...Centre ville tres agreable ...le prix du taxi commande pour l aeroport de venise etait exagere 90 euros...

All we could have wanted
The hotel was exactly what we needed. The accommodation was excellent for its type. The only improvement I could suggest would be the provision of a kettle and tea/coffee materials in the room -- but I know that this is a rare luxury in Italy.

Peaceful place in Padova
Nice shower pressure but i always managed to flood the floor. Stayed 4 nights and on 3rd finally asjed how to get Englush news and was shwn what to do...success. simple breakfast. Felt well attended to by all at front desk. Easy to find and easy walk to sites. Only negative. Needs black out curtains. Had to sleep with mask on. Good wifi connection. Quiet area. Padova felt like a very residential town and scholastic

Perfect for hospital and S. Anthony's church
Basic but comfortable hotel located a few steps front the hospital 5 minutes walk from Saint Anthony's church and a 15 minutes slow walk from the city centre. Very welcoming and efficient staff and a good selection of restaurants nearby.

Central and clean hotel
Stayed before at Hotel Igea in principal due to its very good location. Even if it is not the most beautiful designed hotel in the world (actually it is very basic), the combination position, proximity to city center/railway station/price is one of the best in Padova.

Great Place
I had a good stay at Igea, the place is Clean and breakfast is Just fine. The restaurants are not more than 10 min walk away. Be aware that the parking in front of the hotel is not free ,that had unfortunately me fooled. But a great place.

We liked so much hotel Igea, the staff were so nice and helpful, the neighboyrhood is calm, and near everything, its so clean, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back to this hotel :)

Decent hotel in central Padova
Very well located hotel situated in an area very close to the city historic center. Clean and quiet rooms, renovated bathroom. The parking costs 10 EUR/night and is very close. Free WiFi at a pretty slow speed (usual in Italy). The breakfast is very poor, if you find a good price offer without breakfast, you will not miss much.

Two happy days in Padua
One way streets made the hotel difficult to drive too. However, it was we'll located for walking in the city. Room was comfortable but marred by a screened of window. Helpful staff.

Good hotel in Padua - internet is weak
The hotel is good, with a nice breakfast. It's about a 10-minute walk from St. Justina or St. Antony. The room was comfortable, and the staff helpful (I had reserved two beds, and when that information didn't make it into the system properly, they upgraded me to a triple. It may have helped that it's off season (January)). My only complaint is that the internet was bad. They have some sort of http proxy or cache. Performance when surfing was very bad (lots of timeouts). If you visit an https: site, it works much better. At least the wireless was free.

Hotel Igea in Padova-Good hotel, not best location
The Igea is an excellent hotel. It is located quite a bit out of the center of town in an area with few amenities, but the quality and cost may be worth the slight inconvenience. A 15-minute walk takes you to the center.

Igea Hotel in Padua - great location
A good value hotel on the outskirts of the old town, a short walk from the main historic centre, and close to plenty of cafes and restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful, and the room was comfortable and had a great view from the little balcony. Very clean and well kept. The only downside was the tea which tasted of dishwasher fluid!

Even the facilities are rather old, the rooms are well cleaned. The room was equipped with enough numbers of light, which I think is very rare in hotels in Italy. Reception staffs were very friendly.
