We were on a family leisure trip. The hotel location had scenic views. The property looks pretty on the whole. However, the service was below average. Except for a couple of House keeping staff and Aamir from the restaurant, the overall service attitude was elusive. But this was made up for by Aamir and some other staff. Also one would expect a much better quality of linens, toiletries and bathrooms for the price that the hotel charges. The Front desk and guest relations staff certainly needs improvement with their customer greeting and handling skills.

These guys at Grand Mumtaz Pahalgam deal customer to customer differently. Although I had paid a hefty amount to book two nights and it was supposed to be a good room / standard delux room but they tried to slip me into a shallow shady kinda room. I had to change immidiately. Please always insist to get a better room otherwise they will just put you in older wing where the rooms are just lousy stinky and inwards with no view. Ciao
