Possibly the worst food I have ever had in my life with terrible room service getting it there. We also asked for our room to be cleaned but it was not when we returned almost a day later. This hotel clearly does not care about its guests.

We booked our stay as our Mom was coming to visit & we enjoy our slot machines & games. It is our first time staying in this hotel as we've always stayed at the other hotel/resort down the street numerous times, we are local San Diegans. As we were checking in, our luggage that we left with the Concierge, apparently was inspected & we were rudely told by the Concierge staff, that we must remove the " alcoholic beverages" that we had, as the Casino does not allow alcohol beverages to be brought in to the hotel. We completely understand this policy, and immediately complied by taking the alcoholic beverages back to our car. However, this was the first time we have ever had our belongings inspected without our knowledge nor permission, in any Casino hotel stay. I felt violated, Our excitement over our mini vacation was dampened by the way the concierge staff confronted us. By the way, WE are RESPONSIBLE ADULTS who enjoys a little cocktail in our room to start our vacation, and we go to a nice dinner in the finest restaurant in the Casino, and gamble & play all night long. We also enjoy the bars in the Casino, along with the entertainment. All resort casinos we've stayed at have never confronted us with an issue like this. The whole stay was only made a bit better by staff at other dept - Front Desk - Juana, very friendly, professional; Summer & Shelley- great morning servers - cafe. A sign at the Front entrance of the hotel re this alcohol policy will help Guests.

Easy access from the freeway and the pool layout were excellent. Suites need disposable cups for water and coffee, as well as wine bottle openers.

I liked that the property was clean and well managed. The location is not too far from Los Angeles but yet far away enough to get away.

Checked in after 4pm one of my two rooms was ready, was promised my second room on a rush but was later told it could be until 6pm. Terrible reception service.
