Great Stay!

Posted Nov 18, 2016
Pros: that owners went out of their way to prepare the lunch pack for us since we would miss breakfast due to an early start of the day. Quiet and clean.
Cons: There was a slight leakage from the room air-co when we arrived but it got sorted very quickly during the time we were at the beach.
Location: Beautiful Paleochora, lots of very pretty beaches nearby and of course the Samaria gorge!
Lovely family run hotel. Comfortable, clean and very close to the village centre (5 minutes walk). On the morning we got up really early to go to the Samaria gorge, they prepared for us a lunch pack for the day as we would miss breakfast!

A lovely budget hotel in Paleochora

Posted Jul 2, 2012
Aris Liatakis and his family run this lovely, friendly and well situated budget hotel close to the pebble beach side of the peninsula of Paleochora. The rooms and facilities are simple but comfortable, at a great price, with nice views from either balconies or terraces (depending on your room), onto the lovely hotel gardens (full of foliage and flowers and interesting garden sculptures) or over one row of rooftops to the sea and mountains. The hotel is 5-10 minutes' walk from either the sandy or pebble public beaches, also close to some very nice restaurants, 5 minutes to the boat that goes to Elafonisi, Sougia, Agia Roumeli, etc. Nice breakfasts, including freshly squeezed orange juice, and a bar service for Greek coffee and other drinks when you need. And, importantly, really friendly, helpful and relaxed staff.

A low cost Hotel

Posted May 31, 2012
Pros: cost and location
Cons: the en-suite bathroom. Lack of a TV in the room.
Location: central location
Good value for money. No Television in the room and the en-suite bathroom needs modernising. Ok if you are on a tight budget. The breakfast though seemed a little expensive for what was available. The location of the Aris is excellent.

très belle déco toute refaite à neuf

Posted Apr 27, 2016

Gemütliches Hotel in Paleochora

Posted Mar 14, 2016
Pros: Zimmerkomfort, Neurenovierung, Bad

Nice hotel on the tip of the Paleochora peninsula

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Cons: Softer beds and more fruit at breakfast
Very nice hotel, very nice staff, perfect location, 5 min to center of Paleochora. Friendly staff with lots of local knowledge and valuable hints. Perfect AC that is working at all hours, fresh newly re-done bathrooms More fruit at breakfast would up the grade even more (but we do love the fresh orange-juice!) as would softer beds Paleochora is the place to stay in Crete and Aris is on of the very best places to stay

Dans un quartier tranquille de Paleochora

Posted Jul 28, 2014
