The hotel has 5stars. However, I would give max 4. It requires renewal and renovation. The biggest advantage- outside pool. The hotel has flaws though: no iron, old furnitures, out fashion carpets.

Weekend stay
Breakfast could have more options. Room with small balcony but no chairs in the balvony to sit and relax. Room was clean.

The best in Palanga?
Surprisingly everything was spot on. This hotel is a bit expensive on a Lithuanian scale. Rooms are small but overall comfortable. Breakfast and food was excellent.

Overall this is a good clean hotel, the entrance, restaurant and main swimming pool outdoor is nice. The hotel is fairly close to the beach, 8 minutes walk. And it is around 10-15 minutes drive to the town. There are buses routes nearby but never tried these, I did spot that the buses were fairly full. You definitely need a car if travelling with young kids. The hotel is child friendly. The service was excellent, the staff go out of their way to help you. There is room for improvement in terms of the facilities on offer and if the hotel carried out these then it would be great. I am not sure why these have not been done already. I would advise the hotel management team to look into these as they will make a huge difference, its what makes a hotel truly special, and tick all the boxes for travellers.

Nice but no where a 5 star hotel
The hotel there is no where a 5 star hotel. It’s nice but not as clean as it should be and contains old ish furniture that has some defects. Our room had no lights working in the restroom, telephone in the room didn’t work. When issues were reported they fixed the phone but lights not until next day. They did offer a different room though which is understanding. Check-in and check-out took so long 15-20 mins with numerous mistakes on the bills. Disappointing and don’t think I would stay there again.

The hotel has a nice spa and is quite nice. But it is in an area with ruined houses and quite far from everything in Palanga. Rooms could be bigger.

Pleasantly surprised and satisfied. Great Hotel!
A great place to spend time and relax with a family, friends or your second half. Quite area, great SPA procedures and massages of a large selection and whats best- is that they are different in terms of techniques and variety. Dont look no further if you are up for a good treatment. The weak spot was the cleanness of the dining room. Just minor things, but not so pleasant, but food is absolutely safe and menu was very good. They also have some nice wines selection. Most important thing is that hotel staff is really flexible and instead of saying NO- they prefer to offer alternatives and solutions. My choice for another quick getaway.

A nice and quiet place, but a bit overpriced by my opinion, especially in September. Check in was smooth and quick, staff efficient and helpful. Room was clean and tidy, bedding and mattress excellent, housekeeper Ruta did a very good job. Breakfast was tasty, hot food choice not that big. One thing I cannot understand – no one meets you, offers tea or coffee, staff was helpful, but chatting about last night experience with customers around, hmm. Health and Safety with the wires near hot food table and coffee machines need to be looked at more often. Restaurant was great, SPA experience - excellent. Overall, 4 stars, I had a pleasant stay

The staff was remarkable. They were extremely knowledgable and helpful. The spa staff equally wonderful. Our overall stay was amazing mainly because of the people who work at Vanagupe.

Tik atvykus į viešbutį paaiškėjo, kad už vaiką reiks mokėti papildomai 15 Eur, nors buvo užsakytas kambarys su vaiku ir apie jokius papildomus mokesčius vaikui Hotels.com svetainėje nebuvo informacijos. Restorano maistas nevisiškai atitinka didelės kainos. Pusryčiai kaip 5 žvaigždučių viešbučiui neįspūdingi. Garinė pirtis neveikė. Aptarnavimas puikus.

Great 5 stars hotel
Great hotel with very friendly and professional staff. Hotel has incredible SPA and a very nice bar and heated pool outside. We were also surprised by delicious food in a restaurant. Wifi really strong, watched Netflix easily.
