When you don't want to stay with family...

Stayed here while visiting family over Christmas. Pretty much what you would expect of a Hampton Inn. Free breakfast included, food worker was busy making sure everything was in stock. Coffee available all day was nice too

Nice weekend get away

Pros: Friendly staff, free breakfast, helpful signage.
Cons: Please keep the vending machines filled!!!!
Location: Close to a mall, movie theater, historic Long Grove, Illinois .
We stayed two nights, and enjoyed being so close to a mall, the movies, and lots of restaurants.

Very Nice

Pros: Good location in Deer Park near lots of malls and restaurantes.
Cons: Maid service communication
Location: Anything and everything near by. Stores, shops, movies restaurantes. Convenient to 53 freeway.
Only negative is missing maid service if you leave late morning. Also, they were resurfacing parking lot, and part of the time there was inadequate parking.

This was an exellent hotel for a family reunion. The accomodations were very good. The staff was professional and friendly. We used it is a central location for our reunion event getting together with other family members.

Nice hotel close to shopping

The hotel is very quiet even on the nights it was completely full. They offer a very nice breakfast every morning with a variety to choose from.

Pros: Very clean, close to malls and restaurants as well as decently close to train stations.
Cons: 3 towels & 3 wash cloths were put in our room daily (we're a family of 4). We'd have to ask front desk for more daily (not too friendly). Bed was hard
Overall a good experience. Mattress was hard and we all had backaches but room was always clean, which we appreciate.

Fairly spartan for the money.

Pros: One of my pet peeves in hotels is shower heads that come out of the wall at about eye level forcing me to duck under them to shower. Not this room.
Needed a hotel close to Deer Park and Barrington to crash after an evening event. This was the closest to our house concert destination, and cost about $124.00. We could have stayed in Barrington at an America's Best Value Inn for $50 less. I didn't get much for my $50. The big bed was comfortable but there was tub, no fridge in the room, problematic electrical outlet placement, and no bars or restaurants (or anything else) within walking distance.
