Nice little hotel with good location

Posted Mar 25, 2017
The hotel has few rooms with a swimming pool and a restaurant. It is located on a touristic street with several restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. We had a small issue with the breakfast (their records showed it was not included) which they resolved promptly. Nice stay in the wonderful Chiapas region !

This hotel was a good choice for many reasons. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast satisfying. The location right around the corner from ADO bus station and a big supermarket. I would definitely stay here again.

Palenque Hotel

Posted Feb 2, 2017
Pros: Location, great staff, restaurant, cleanliness, patio and pool, prices, hot water, access to CNN, free wi-fi, Lara parrots in trees, quietness
Cons: softer beds, possibly a comfortable chair inside. (There were 2 plastic chairs and small table on a small balcony)
Location: see above-location was ideal- access to other restaurants, walking distance to artesian market, large grocery store, ADO bus terminal with ATM machine
We visited Palenque 1/22-1/28 and stayed at this hotel. We couldn't have been more pleased excepting a little softer beds. The location is great on one of two streets with other hotels and restaurants, near a large grocery store, away from the downtown area so as to be quieter, and a short walk to the bus station at which one can use an ATM machine and book tickets to other cities. There was also a tour agency directly across the street to book day tours to other interesting places such as Aqua Azul, Bonampak and Yaxchilan The food was delicious and very reasonably priced (good, large meal for 2 + bottle of wine for $25-$30. The staff was very professional as well as being very friendly and gracious. The landscape was lovely and the entire place was incredibly clean. Hot water was ample. We also walked (20 min.) to a nice Artesiana location where there were local folks selling the the Mexican crafts. Taxicabs were readily available in the area and very reasonable but we could walk to most places and we are in our 70's.

Pros: Very clean & new
Cons: A good restaurant on site. But not nearly as good as a few down the road.
Location: Perfect location. Close to the town, shops and market.
A wonderful place to stay. Everything is newly renovated. A short walk to the town and markets. There are a number of excellent restaurants within a few minuets walk. Loved the place.

Great staff excellent location comfy but noisy

Posted Dec 29, 2016 on Hotels
The location can't be beat, and the staff are really professional and provide excellent service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only complaint is that it's very noisy. The parrots are a pleasent sound, but the kids in the pool or loud families make it difficult to sleep.

Value for money, good location

Posted Dec 4, 2016
Pros: location is great
Cons: better food. better bread croissants for instance or other bakery. toiletries are awful.
Location: good location and walking distance to town
This is a hotel that is very conveniently located in a nice area of Palenque. Staff are very useful and rooms and facilities are clean and confortable. Toiletries are really bad but the room and beds are big and confortable. Nice pool. Better bread will be good during breakfast. Near many restaurants, coffee shops and walking distance to town. Will recommend for families, businesses and all types of trips. The massage service offered by this hotel is actually performed by staff in a nearby hotel. This can be improved dramatically with better masseurs.

Convenient location

Nice hotel in Palenque, close to good cafes. The sitcom was very noisy and reception could give limited travel advice (in Spanish), by the overall a comfortable stay.

Great location otherwise unremarkable.

Posted Oct 13, 2016
Pros: Location
This hotel is in the Canada neighbourhood, a small area of jungle like peace, where the rest of the town is largely concrete. Also the hotel is about 400 meters to the ADO bus terminal, likely your entry/exit point. It is nice to take a swim in the pool after the heat of exploring. The rooms are unremarkable hotel rooms, but they were clean and well cleaned daily.
