We had reserved this hotel 3 months in advance for our trip from LA
Once we got there the staff said that they did not have a room for us since they had a plumbing problem
Then while we were waiting we noticed other people checking in and getting a room
When we asked them they said they prefer to give the rooms to the people who were statying more than one night
Basically they through us out even though they had charged our credit card and had taken the reservation
We had to go around in a strange town and look for a hotel, we finally found a hotel which was like a motel 6
Our whole trip was ruined.
Do not make a reservation because it does not mean you are going to get a room
They will just through you out for their convinience

Thank you for sharing your experience and please be assured that we are very sorry for the disappointing condition you found upon arrival. Unfortunately we faced a serious technical issue, however, in order to find the best solution for you, we offered an alternative hotel which was rejected.
We truly understand the uncomfortable feelings you must have gone through but we would have never let you go withouth offering with no extra charge a similar place for you to stay.
We hope you will give Villa Igiea another opportunity in the future and we wish you all the best.
