Insisted we had to pay for any cancelled nights

Pros: The hotel is close to the station.
Cons: The empathy of the management team and to have 24 hour cover on reception. To install water pumps for the hot water pressure.
Location: Many place to visit and good cheap public transport
Due to unforeseen circumstances we ended up having to stay in two rooms at this hotel. In both the beds were very uncomfortable, the hot water pressure for the shower was very weak, giving us a choice between cold or a dribble. The breakfasts were of a low standard with old fruit and serving coffee in cracked cups. We had booked for 3 nights, but after the first night we wanted to change hotels due to a noisy street festival in progress. Opposite the hotel was a stage which played amplified music until midnight. We said we wanted to leave but the management team were inflexible as they insisted we had to pay for any cancelled nights as they said it was in their terms and conditions and would they would have to take the money from the card given as a guarantee to Expedia. They offered us another room that they said would not be effected so much by the noise. We had to take up this option as it would have meant paying for the 3 nights even if we did not stay for the last 2 nights. We would not recommend this hotel..
