Comfortable hotel in quiet street with good buses

The hotel is clean, comfortable and modern. We had a basic room which was still a decent size with an en suite shower room. The bed was good. Reception and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is just a block from Politeama (named for Theatre Politeama rather than that actual piazzas), which with neighbouring piazza Sturzo is one of the main centres for both AMAT city buses (Mondello, Central Station, Norman Palace etc) and intercity coaches to/from the west (Airport, Trapani/Erice, Castelvetrano). There are ticket offices for all the main coach services and the only AMAT booth that sells multi-day city bus tickets (a bargain at less than 3 Euro/day/person for unlimited travel in the city) all in the same street (v Turati) - AMAT actually on an island in Liberte).
Dangerously there is an awesome ice cream shop one block away just off Sturzo - 3 flavours - 1.5 Euro, and to damage larger budgets rather than waistlines via Liberte, the next street but one is full of designer shops Gucci etc.
There is a Carrefour supermarket within easy walking on via Liberte.
The historic centre of Palermo is walkable and certainly easily busable from Politeama.
We got the bus to the Central Station fora rail trip to Cefalu and a coach to Agrigento). Getting to the station took 15mins approx on the bus, you wouldn't walk it readily.
We found good restaurants in the back streets of the historic town and OK but more expensive ones local to the hotel.
