This is one of the cases where the pictures must have been taken on the best day. There was a barking dog that made it hard to sleep and I could here dog foot steps on the tiles. The breakfast is decent but the room is noisy as they do the dishes in the room while you eat.

My room was not prepped before we checked in despite waiting from 9.30am to 4pm to do so. The mirrors were dirty as was the ledge in my bathroom. My toilet seat moved when you sat on it snd the sink basin was dangerously cracked and thus unhygienic. I asked to switch rooms and they agreed to move me the next day yet after packing up all my things, they failed to move me. The breakfasts were stale croissants and packet jams.

Perfect location: central and yet quite street, also easy for airport connection, in between the historical centre and the shopping district. Very helpful and attentive staff. Good breakfast. Recently renovated.

Clean hotel in central location. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was perfectly satisfactory. Plumbing is a bit dated and had small issues for both shower and toilet. Overall a good value hotel if you're looking to stay in Palermo on a modest budget.

Well worth a visit
A nice hotel in a good location. Staff were very helpful and friendly but unable to resolve a couple of issues, ie AC didn’t work and a leaky sink in bathroom.

Very friendly and helpful staff, but....
Reception was quick and easy. The bed was Terrible, lousy pillows, and the shower was so small, my husband was unable to turn around unless he opened the door. The morning continental buffet was ok. My favorite part was the staff.

Staff was really nice. Pictures provided by the hotel really exaggerate this property, we were shown two rooms and both were dark and small. First room had two individual twin beds, we asked for another room with one larger bed and they told us we needed to upgrade for that option. After negotiating with them (everything is negotiable), we were given a "Deluxe" room with one large bed but it was just two twins pushed together.

Hotel Posta saved the day!
Hotel Posta accommodated our very early arrival (7am ferry from Naples disembarkation) with complete grace and ease. Their disposition was delightful and helpful with each request. Wifi worked great and our walking self-tour was a great adventure!

small hotel in the best part of Palermo
the location of the hotel was just as described and perfect for the old town of Palermo which is full of bars, great restaurants, street food and boutiques. The only down side was that the hotel could only offer WiFi in he very small lobby. Very helpful staff and it would have been possible to park a rental car if necessaey.

Expedia or hotel error in booking
I booked a triple room for $70 that said it had two quuen beds. We specifically booked the hotel because Expedia said they have a hot tub. We arrived. No hot tub. Staff put us in a triple room no balcony. They moved us to a balcony room. Expedia credited us back the cost of one night for the error. I hope they take the hot tub off their amenities on the mobile app and fix the room choice error. Clarissa at the hotel refuses to take responsibility for the error yet it is there and someone needs to fix it. My kids and I were looking forward to that hot tub.

Good location
This hotel has no aesthetic appeal and smells (unpleasant). The rooms are basic and the hot water did not work.There is no hair dryer or iron etc. Very expensive for what you get.I have never paid so much for such low quality. The breakfasts are basic as well: coco pops, cornflakes, bread, tinned pineapple, croissants and jam. The staff are very pleasant and the hotels only saving grace. The rooms were clean and large. We had organized a pick up from the airport via mail and when we arrived at the airport there was no one there to greet us. We had to ring the hotel and they did organise an ordinary taxi driver to pick us up (they had apparently forgot).

Excellent hotel
Everything about the hotel was first class, quiet air conditioned rooms, great location, good breakfast, valet parking, helpful staff friendly service. Four of us, two couples, stayed 4 nights in September 2014 and this was our first stop on a trip around Sicily. Palermo is an amazing city, like an Italy on steroids, everything, the good and the bad, amplified. We enjoyed all of it, the people, the traffic, the markets, the historic old buildings and the food. Palermo was safe and we had nothing but positive experiences. We want to go back!

This hotel sucks!
The lobby appears welcoming, but the rooms are so bad! The bed was squeaking all the time, and was not comfy. The room was so old and tired it was depressing. There wasn't enough lamps or lighting. Not enough water was coming from the shower. This was a superior room so I can't imagine how the ordinary room is! Also, the hotel didn't let us know about the parking fee and city tax beforehand but last minute, when we were checking out. It is a city centre hotel, so it was very noisy at night (music or traffic noise, once until midnight on a Sunday!). I really don't understand how it got such good reviews!

Short Family Stay Over
The hotel was a little difficult to get to at first coming in on Sunday, because the main traffic roads were closed for pedestrian traffic and markets making GPS navigation very circuitious. However, this small owner run hotel is the largest and cleanest that I have ever stayed in while visiting Italy having spent over 30 nights all accross Italy ; of hotels that are not chain (ie Hilton, Sheraton). The room was quite large as well as the bathroom; although the shower was still typically small for Italy. Rooms are clean although a little older. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a short 10 minute walk to the Massimo Theater and main shopping avenue. They have private garage parking for 15Euro a day, and free street parking if you're lucky enough to find space. Breakfast is a typical European continental with small assortment of breads, cold cuts, cereals, yogurt and fruit. I would use this hotel again if ever travelling to Palermo.

Well-placed central hotel but old-fashioned
This was a well placed and friendly hotel with helpful and welcoming staff. It had access to a roof terrace looking across the roofs of Palermo but otherwise was painted in dark brown with subdued light. This radically reduced the impact of the hotel overall. The absence of a fridge and room safe as standard in rooms was a drawback but the rooms themselves were clean and spacious.

Family reunion
We arrived at the hotel very late, tired and hungry. The owner met us and showed us to our room. Although it was very late and most restaurants were closed the owner went out of his way to walk us to a pizzeria that was approx 10 mins from the hotel . This hotel is centrally located and the delicious breakfast is included in the price. Would recommend staying in this hotel to family and friends.

Nice hotel
This was a nice place to stay. large room, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit, pastries, juice etc. Internet in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel. Location is not too bad. A bit of a walk to some places. A longer walk from the train or port...but not really and issue. The staff were kind and helpful.

Very helpful staff - we needed to print out boarding passes for Alitalia for following morning and Clarissa at Reception was great. Comfortable and clean room, TV, shower and air conditioning all good. Also free wifi in hall area was useful. Centrally located, good value for money.

I was a little disappointed with the general presentation of the Hotel. It was run down and the foyer had an unpleasant smell. The service was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In comparison to other 3 star hotels in the area or for the price in comparison to a four star hotel it was disappointing.
