Aircon poor, have to pay for ice!! Old dark rooms, blinds didn’t work so on edge of patio area where guests sat with lights on at 3am! Shining into room! Neighbouring dog barked ALL night! Very very old tired room. Shower tiny and hard to move around in unless you kept arms by your side!! Avoid avoid avoid

The hotel is very fairly priced, but be mindful that you get what you pay for. There is only one plug socket in the room and there is no fridge. The walls are also pretty thin, but in our experience, guests were not noisy into the night. The location isn’t bad, it’s around a 15 minute walk into the old town, but be mindful that the hotel is up a relatively steep hill, which may not be appropriate for someone relatively unfit or disabled. Overall, I wouldn’t stay again, but I’m happy with what we paid for the stay.

Good value hotel
Superb hotel very clean with a nice pool area . Breakfast is a wide choice and well acceptable for anyone. Close to the beautiful old town of Cefalu but it is up a hill so if you are not mobile it may not be for you . We managed ok and we are in our 60,s . All round great hotel

Good stay quiet and positive
Good stay, quiet and positive. The location is at the top of a hill which can make the stay a bit difficult for some. A nice pool and a reasonable choice for breakfast

Pros.....The view from my room was fantastic, swimming pool was large and clean. The staff were generally helpful. Con....the hotel is quite far out of town, and there is a steep climb to get to it.

I liked how friendly the staff was and the cleanliness of the hotel room. What we didn't like was the size of the shower. The shower was too small, not enough room to move. And the air conditioning we had trouble with the first day. We weren't sure how it was operated. Apparently there was a remote we weren't informed about. Would've appreciated an explanation on how it's operated. We weren't family with the system, being from another country.

Loved the pool and service at the pool by staff. Disappointed in the bathroom, shower was so small you could barely fit, toilet was squeezed in the corner with no room to fit your legs. Doors were hard to open with the keys. Needs some upgrading.

Cefalu Belvedere
We only stayed one night en route to meeting with family but bases on our limited time there everything was fine. The only issue was they nees to tell people walking to their hotel that it is at the top of a steep hill

A basic hotel with a nice pool, but quite a way from the historic centre. I wasn’t in the room much but it was cleaned efficiently and regularly. It is up a pretty steep hill so good exercise! Breakfast pickings for vegans are pretty slim, coffee and fruit.

The rooms at this hotel need updating. Shower was so small, you can't get any smaller. Can't even bend down to wash your legs. Location is good, just a short walk to the center of the city and beach. Nice pool, nice staff.

On a hill

Good place at a good price
Decent place at a good price. At the top of a steep hill, but with parking and a pool. Overall a pleasant place to rest our heads for a few nights. The centre of the town is about a 10-15 minute walk away, with a supermarket, cafes and restaurants all in ththe vicinity. Room was clean and comfortable, shower was hot and powerful.

An older, middle of the road hotel. You get what you pay for. The pool is nice. Short walk to both beach and historical center (as well as shuttle bus). Would probably spend a bit more next visit to Cefalù.

Rushed stay in Chefula
The hotel is not in the best position and we did book last minute and got one of the last rooms, which might explain the cramped nature of the room and en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was fine and the staff all helpful. The pool looked good, but we had no time to use it.

Desk staff was surly at best. A smile could have certainly been offered. Seemed like it was very hard for this woman to do her job. I really felt almost unwelcome. The breakfast was meager. The waffle iron didn't work. Then the micro wave shut down. The room was clean and tidy. But the desk folks left a huge negative impression. Won't visit there again.

HELPFUL STAFF, GOOD SIZE ROOMS AND GOOD BREAKFAST
Stayed with my daughter and grandaughter and the room was a good size with plenty of wardrobe space, room was cleaned to perfection with shower cream/shampoo, we paid extra for room with balcony. Pool area was big with plenty of sun loungers, and always guaranteed to have a sun lounger, lots of seating area by the pool to have lunch or dinner. The breakfast was pretty amazing with choices of coffee's, teas, juices, cheeses, cereals, ham, jams, fruit, you name it they had it and it was very good indeed. Its about 15-20 minutes walk to the beach and town centre, depending on how fast you walk, downhill going and uphill coming back. Hotel offer transport to and from town for 2 Euros each which is very good, walking not suitable for elderly and hardly any pavements to walk on. You can order drinks 24 hours a day, and hotel offers sandwiches and pasta meals. Would love to stay here again. If wifi is important to you, I would say the signal is not very good even paying with my provider, would loose signal quite a lot, but its not the end of the world

Two night stay
The room we got smelled really heavely of mildew and we asked to change the room. The friendly staff showed us the only other available room but this room smelled the same way. We changed the room the next day when they had another room available. However this room also smelled a little of mildew but the worst was the stop in the shower. Since we only stayed for two nights at this hotel and the room was already prepaid we didn't make a big fuss about it.

I stayed here for a few nights solo. It is a bit of a trek from the train station and the beach- so call ahead and they will arrange a pickup for you at 2euros. The hotel was okay. My room was with single beds, but it seemed others were nicer. Overall it was great for the price and the staff were very helpful and friendly! Rosario- the driver was especially nice and will do whatever he can to make your stay as nice as possible! Just be prepared to walk- a lot! And up steep hills!

Good hotel, but a bit out of the main town
This is a good hotel, with nice clean rooms. The swimming pool has been recently renovated and provided a very refreshing interlude. Good breakfast. Free parking in front of hotel, but if full can park at rear for small charge. The hotel is a bit distant from the old town - it would be quite a long, steep walk so we took our hire car into town (and managed to find a parking space). Alternative would be a taxi.

Stayed 2 nights here on a tour of Sicily. My partner couldn't go out in her high heels of an evening because the hill up to the hotel is so steep, disaster!! Seriously though the hotel staff are very helpful. The pool and bar area are good. There is a well equipped fitness room, if the walk up to the hotel isn't enough! The room was a bit tired and lacking storage, but it was clean with good air con. The town itself is well worth a visit, make sure you visit the old town and monastery. La rocca also worth walking up to for an outstanding view of Cefalu.

the reception staff were appallingily rude, the hotel was very unclean, there is no soundproof walls so we got no sleep and the breakfast was terrible with very rude staff also- the hotel is a disgrace and i have also written this in a more detailed review on Tripadviser, i would suggest this hotel not be reccommended to anybody.

Nice hotel about 600 meters from the beach. A bit of a climb back up. Lovely views, really nice pool. Lousy coffee (nescafe) with breakfast. Luckily they sell the good stuff at the bar. Extremely nice, helpful staff.

This hotel was nice, clean and welcoming. It was quite basic and new (no rustic feel) but pool area nice and breakfast good. Air con was ok but not greatest. Only thing was it was at the top of a big hill, which took some work climbing to the top! So if have elderly/disabled then best stay soemwhere else or make sure you have a car. However it is within walking distance of beach (bout 5-10mins) and bars and restaurants(bout 10mins) so nice location.

L'ingresso e le aree comuni sono molto belle e coreografiche. Ambienti accoglienti , piscina e palestra .La camera era invece spartana, il bagno poco funzionale con la porta della doccia che non si apre completamente perchè urta sul soffione della doccia, la tavoletta del wc rotta e in generale un aria troppo vissuta . Sarebbe consigliabile un rinnovamento.

Hôtel en hauteur. Il faut être jeune pour monter et descendre la forte pente. Notre chambre était vieillotte. Piscine sympa.
