The only down fall was the pool was very dirty - but it was off season. They should keep it clean. Other than that, the breakfast was fab & the room was beautiful.

A really classy stylish hotel that is so convenient for the car hire places for car drop off and airport. Food and staff were amazing plus free parking. Great find.

Great hotel for 2 or 3 days.
Just returned from our trip and definitely recommend this hotel for short stays. Hotel: The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are large. There is a fantastic restaurant on site. The pool is perfect. The view is amazing. Water pressure is very good. Bed is comfy. It would have been nice if the sliding patio door opened, but it does not. Location: the hotel is relatively isolated. There is no attached beach, but there is a nice beach about a 20 minute walk away. Because of this isolation I would not stay here if my trip was long and mostly to see Palermo. It's about a 45 minute drive each way and that would eat a lot of vacation time. But it is very close to the airport. So we returned our car early and took a taxi. There are some nearby restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel every day.

A first class place to stay
What a great place to stay! The room was contemporary in design, very clean and a peaceful space. The reception area, bar area and dining room were nicely decorated and well maintained. A large swimming pool and outdoor chaises were most inviting on a warm afternoon. The food in the dining room was the best we’ve eaten. Our waiter explained that the chef prepares the food with love and he certainly delivered!

Really lovely, clean and tidy hotel with super friendly staff. Some traffic noise if your room backs on to the road but otherwise highly recommended. Great location for late arrivals/early departures from the airport.

The place is beautiful. We were heartbroken that we did not have time to use the pool— but the ambience is restful, the service is great, and the restaurant is too-notch. Only request: put some hooks in the bathroom, so we can hang things up!

A gem of a find in the Palermo area.
Magaggiari Hotel Resort was a last minute find for us. We wish we would have found it sooner to have stayed longer. But it is giving us a good reason to return to beautiful Sicily. The location was great, close enough to the Palermo airport to initially get good rest or to catch an early flight out. Beside all of that, Magaggiari is beautiful, romantic, relaxing, and well maintained. The restaurant is superb. The chef pares local flavors using the freshest ingredients and the presentation simply beautiful. The service is warm, welcoming, and professional. Luigi was a delight to have wait on us. The best.

Nice and spacious rooms, nice pool. Dining staff not friendly at all. We felt like we were bothering them. Hotel is convenient if visiting family but want independence. Not a lot in this area.

We had a very early flight and had to leave at 4am. They arranged a taxi for us, the night clerk was on duty and gave us a packed breakfast to take with us. Our dinner in their restaurant was excellent cuisine, reflective of Sicily in an upscale contemporary menu selection. Service was exemplary

This property was great, the staff are awesome here and it feels like your secluded in a small oasis. We didn't get a chance to fully experience the restaurant but the couple items we had were delicious. The only thing I would state is the beds could be a bit more comfortable, other than that everything was great here.

The food and service were exceptional. Our waiter, Luigi, made our dining experience very enjoyable. The reception staff were professional and helpful. The grounds are very well maintained. It was very relaxing and peaceful to stay there.

Hotel Magaggiari was located on a beautiful secluded property with scenic mountain views. It was conveniently located close to the airport which made our early morning flight easier. The room was quite spacious and modern. The pool was a highlight. The restaurant was very lovely and made it such that you didn't need to leave the property.

The setting is very nice and the pool area beautiful. Reception was pleasant and accommodating and the restaurant setting is lush and relaxing. Food was better than average and service was excellent. A great place to stay and wind down before going to the airport.

Exception Hotel and Resort
Hotel was very classy and the rooms were excellent. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful and friendly. The bar, swimming pool and the entire surroundings have a peaceful effect. Definitely recommend this hotel to stay and relax.

Looks good but food horrible
We checked in late afternoon. Checked out early a m. No a/c as advertised. Our conclusion after two weeks in Italy is that is a standard answer. They did bring a fan to Our room. Since we were done with driving we made a dinner reservation there. I can honestly say it was the worst food we had in Italy. If a wait staff had been around we would have complained but there was a party in the other room and they were busy. The final straw was walking out at 6:50 am to leave for the airport. There were no lights on the stairs and I fell down the last two and landed hard. The expletive that came from my mouth had the clerk on duty come running out. I am swore today. Fingers crossed I m going to be okay. But I m sure we won’t be back

This would rate 5 stars with the level of service and quality of the property. The restaurant is excellent. We were there in February so the town is vacant and nothing open. We stayed because it is close to the airport for an early morning flight and were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was !
