Outstanding staff

Massimo Plaza. Palermo Super friendly staff, good location operate the opera house. Plenty of eateries close by. Great area for shopping. Walking distance to many historic buildings. Walk up steep flight of stairs to reception. Room clean, bed firm, TV, bar fridge, free wifi, air conditioner works well. Reasonably noisy as room close to reception. No view. Shower tiny and water pressure poor.breakfast supplied in room hoice either sweet or salty. Probably the best staff of any hotel we've stayed at, well done.

zentraler Standort für Innenstadterkundung, Fußgängerzone auch in der Nacht extrem laut, einzigartig viel sichtbare Polizei verursacht Unbehaglichkeit.

A beautiful little hotel with a very friendly helpful staff. The hotel is located very convenient and near to Palermo's interesting visiting sites. Rooms are large, comfortable and new decorated.

Pros: The front desk staff, Federica and Jenny, were absolutely outstanding!
Cons: The long stairway from the street is a definite negative!
Location: Location was excellent ... very centrally located.
Two nights ... pleasant stay. Front desk was great. Breakfast was minimal but experience was enhanced by a delightful service attendant!

Old hotel, rather uncomfortable, well located.

We spent 3 nights in the Massimo Plaza in Palermo. The hotel is quite old, rooms are quite noisy both from the inside and outside. Limited ventilation and the A/C is directly pointed at the bed, which makes it impossible to leave it while sleeping. My girlfriend found black worms in the shower. The breakfast is served in the room because there is no restaurant, the quality is OK but nothing fancy. The hotel is well located, next to some of the main streets, with a lot of shops and restaurants in the area. Wifi was good. It is really painful to drive in Palermo and the hotel is located in a street where cars are not supposed to enter so be careful.

Ideal location/ Nice hotel

Excellent location. Street is pedestrian only for part of the day and the patio is a wonderful place to people watch if you have a room with a street view.. Close to several good restaurants. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast served in the salon or in your room if desired. Room was very large and comfortable. Definitely a place we would return to.
