“Would stay there again.”

“Booked room because the site said it had an indoor pool, upon arrival the was a sign on entrance saying pool was permanently closed! when i asked the lady at the desk if this happened recently she said no it has been closed since 2024 and the website should have been updated! but it was not! refrigerator in room did not work”

“There were questionable stains on the carpet and sitting chair in the room. I definitely did not feel comfortable walking around barefoot. we put a towel on the chair to sit on it. There we also dead flies on the AC unit and a french fry on the floor next to one of the beds which leads me to wonder if the staff actually cleaned the room or just made the bed. One of the beds also had a faded stained comforter... so they should probably upgrade their bedding.”

“Woman working the front desk was nice and helpful. That’s about all this place has going for it.”

“Not bad at all and the owners are very friendly people. Actually want a cutting off of that plant they have in the office and I forgot to ask. Maybe next time I'm driving through Palestine I'll remember and stop in. I don't know what kind of plant it is but it's really cool.”

“Let’s start off by saying all around horrible. No real blankets, A/C wasn’t working properly, property looks like it just went through an hurricane and don’t forget the cockroaches we found. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.”

“Room was clean but the picture they have on here for multiple beds looks like separate rooms it was not it just had multiple beds in one room. Hot tub was not filled up all the way over the jets. The beds are very comfortable but for someone that is short and old and can’t jump the beds were to high. We had to put my mother on fold out couch for her to sleep.”

“Very clean. The AC was a little noisy but other than that it was very nice.”

“The room smelled like smoke and mold. Requested another room and it was somewhat better. Then the next day the elevator was broken and had to use the stairs to take luggage to load the car.”

“As expected for a older motel. Only real down fall was no pool.”

“Our stay was wonderful. The room was cozy and quiet. Loved the little screened in porch with a large swinging bed. The bar area was great with excellent food and service. We plan on going back again for our wedding anniversary.”

“Few bugs in bathroom. Spiders and drain gnats. Otherwise it was fine. LOVE the size of the freezer and mini fridge. As a traveling motorcycle rider, I like to have frozen bottles of water. I was able to put 3 gel packs, 2 nuck wraps and 3 or 4 bottles of water. I'm usually lucky to get 2 gel packs and a neck wrap in the freezer. Front desk lady was great. Parking was close to room.”
