Napa on the Western Slope

Posted Nov 15, 2016
Pros: The hotel was very nice, had all the amenities of any 5 star hotel, along with a great staff!
Cons: softer pillows, but that is not a deal breaker
Location: The Inn is walking distance to downtown Palisade and short drives to the nearby wineries & breweries.
Heard about the Palisade Wineries & the Wine Country Inn from some friends. We were not disappointed, the Inn is beautiful and the grounds are equally gorgeous. We visited 6 of the closest Wineries to the Inn and found wines available in Palisade to be excellent!

Clean, Quiet, Quaint.

Posted Nov 6, 2016
Location: Small town near Grand Junction.
I needed a room that was quiet for my daughter to sleep before a state volleyball tournament the next day. In my Expedia reservation I requested a quiet top floor room away from the elevator and stairs. That is exactly what I received when I arrived. The staff was quick and courteous. The complementary breakfast the next morning was warm with a wide selection. My daughter was happy with the food. I was willing to pay a few dollars more for the quiet and happy I chose the Wine Country Inn Palisade.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful country setting

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Location: Horse drawn wine tours, bike touring and wineries within walking distance make this hortel a must do. Don't forget the national monument its👍
Great stay however the evening food available from the lounge was poor. Recommend everyone get up early for the included breakfast prepare for a king. Jay the cook does it right!

Pros: The layout of the property. Beautiful scenery. Lots of parking. Very well taken care of.
Location: Lots of wineries close by. Also a nice brewery and distillery. The town of Palisade has some great places to eat.
We enjoyed our stay. Room very comfortable. Lots of outdoor seating with beautiful views. Can't wait to go back.

Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere.

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: Very peaceful and out of the way
Cons: Dinner....a dry chicken sandwich. The other choices weren't much better.
Location: When you come to this hotel you better like to drink wine. That is all there is to do around there. You are in the middle of nowhere.
Being in the middle of nowhere doesn't leave much to talk about.

Great hotel - staff very helpful

Posted Oct 8, 2016
Pros: Staff helpful, room comfortable, nightly wine tasting a good way to sample local wines, flowers/baskets attractive.
Cons: A little more light (wattage) in the bathroom, full door to bathroom not sliding, labeled pillows for softness/hardness. But very pleasant overall.
Location: We went there to tour the wineries - a few good, a number mediocre - lots of frogs to taste as prince. We were able to buy some fruit though late in

Colorado Wine Country Stay

Posted Sep 26, 2016
The location is very unique and in the heart of Colorado's growing wine district. The facilities are very comfortable, if not over-the-top, and the staff was nice and accommodating, with a decent restaurant.
