Pros: nothing
Cons: total renovation!
Location: The hotel is directly across the street from shopping and in close proximity to restaurants.
The hotel is undergoing renovation and is very dated. Room was dark and bathroom had a plastic shower insert. The air conditioner never stopped blowing over the bed. We complained and asked for an upgrade but were told no. We did complain about the mattress which was so bad and did get a new one that day. Went to the spa and could clearly hear them calling out the bingo numbers while getting a massage! Seems like a good family resort but we went there as a couple and it was bad!!

Great hotel/condo right on the beach.

Posted Jul 13, 2017
Great hotel/condo right on Palm Beach. Great amenities, shopping and restaurants right on location. Kitchenettes lack an oven, garbage disposal and dishwasher. Beds in fold out sofas are terrible. Pay for the extra bed if you need it.

Great Location

Posted Mar 19, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: The rooms are great.
Cons: We love to spend time at the beach, unfortunately, the palapa (Chickee Hut) policy is ridiculous. Getting up at 4-5 a.m. to secure a hut is nuts.
Location: The location is on one of the best parts of Palm Beach. Lots of water sports.
Great location! Easy walk to many restaurants and casinos. No need for a car. The rooms are spacious and most have a great view.

Cons: Getting a chickee (grass umbrella) is ridiculous. People go sit on the beach to claim their spot at 4am, or earlier. Not enough space on the beach.
Location: Prime location for shopping and eating.
Great location, every beach is beautiful in Aruba, this one is very crowded with an older crowd and their families. I heard one person say "I came here and said "I'm home"". It's that kind of place. The staff is superior, always ready to assist.

Aruba - Paradise on and Island

Posted Feb 12, 2017
Pros: Pool area and beachside very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating and location to activities and restaurants very good.
Cons: Bed and bathroom cleanliness
Overall we had a good experience at the Playa Linda. The hotel is hitting the point where it needs a little updating to keep an 4-5 status. The rooms and interior are starting to show some wear and tear. The hotel does appear to be making some updates. The layout of the rooms is great for accommodating your needs. Kitchenette, living room bedroom and bath provide all the necessities. The bedroom could use a new mattress. Although not terrible it definitely has some mileage on it. The room also had a musty smell to it which wasn't too bad but noticeable. Bathroom was clean but noticed hairs on the bathroom floor upon arrival and one of the towels was also stained to the point that it should not have been used.

Lovely resort, close to beach and shopping. Tours available to the lighthouse, butterfly farm, water park, snorkeling, excellent restaurants, etc.

Beautiful resort with great views of the water.

Posted Nov 15, 2016
Pros: This is primarily a timeshare resort, but also offers accommodations to the general public. The pool and landscaping are meticulously landscaped with something to see no matter where you are on the premises. The views of the carribbean sea from the rooms are breathtaking. Rooms were beautifully appointed and all kitchen appliances were in the process of being upgraded to stainless steel. Access to any and all water related activities is within steps of the resort. Snorkeling on the Arusun at Aruba Watersports just down the beach a bit is highly recommended.
Cons: Television programming is marginal at best. The majority of TV channels are in Spanish. For the money, each room should be equipped with a DVD player, but in fairness DVD players are available to rent though. With regard to the timeshare owners, most were generally friendly but some a bit territorial of "their" resort, but that is to be expected I would assume. I was surprised though, that even the timeshare owners had to pay for internet access.
Location: The beach is beautiful white sand and very clean. Pelican Pier is adjacent to the property with restaurants and sunset views right from the pier.
