Weekend family break. Stayed one night. The beach is lovely, although the hotel had ran out of beach towels by the time we arrive (3pm) which was disappointing and not resolved. The food is good, we had lunch.

Horrible

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT to anyone. Save yourself the frustration, anger, and grief and stay somewhere else. Despite the hotel's attempts to compensate; staying here for our vacation leaves a bitter taste and appalled memories. Here are the reasons why: My comforter had 4 nasty stains and smelled awful, our sliding door would get stuck and unable to open, the shower head was broke, very limited cabana umbrellas and most of them are broke. Also the resort advertises a pool bar and 2 restaurants. This is not true. They only have 1 restaurant: Brandon's. It has limited items and seriously over priced not to mention it wasn't all that great. We were told that are package included a breakfast buffet. After we ate we got a bill for $85.00. They never told us that their very limited item buffet was $40.00 a plate. The drinks were over priced. Mini-refrigerators were not in the rooms and they too were limited on supply and you have to request one if you want to keep your food/drinks cold. On two occasions our room was not cleaned. When we complained we were told they were understaffed. It took over an hour to get towels so we could shower. We had to make reservations with the front desk to have our room cleaned. This is something I never heard of. The key to the room did not always work nor did the tv in the room. On our day to leave we asked the front for a wake up call. At this point it was not surprising that they never called.

Terrible Experience

Nice hotel, smells like cigarette smoke

Very nice staff , food is a bit overpriced. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke and mildew mixed .

Great hotel right on the beach

Pros: Service, good food, beach location & views, cleanliness of rooms & hotel. Yummy beach food & drinks. Reasonably priced. Nice pool. sound proof rooms.
Cons: Need in each room: coffee machine, bottled water, 2 pairs of slippers, paper & pen, more than 1 bar of soap...the niceties expected of a resort.
Location: Beach is excellent. Nearby casino & pier. Location is gorgeous & safe.
Great hotel service -- all the staff were helpful & friendly. Terrific ocean view rooms. Will definitely stay at Tideline resort again. Hotel could use a refresh to update & brighten though, and need to make the room AC units quieter. Great for honeymooners, couples, adults.

Horrible experience

Filthy room, AC Unit did not cool room, 45 mins to recieve a bucket of ice, pool towels stained (discusting), staff at the front desk with no customer service skills, a simple room service is out of the question (order from Brandon's Restaurant and go get two big to go bags and four drinks and make two trips yourself), would not credit my card my first night because it is recorded me and my family were a no show and I called them two times to let them know American Airlines had delayed MANY flights due to inclement weather. We had a fourteen hour delay... come on people!!

Great property...Poorly managed

Hotel is beautiful and has a great location on the beach. During our visit, the property was understaffed. Hotel also lacks basic things like gift shop, vending machine, ice maker, etc... There is no room service and the restaurant onsite closes at 9:00.

For example, instead of seasonal room service, we now will have it year round! We do currently have a mini-bar inside of each room that has snacks, soft drinks and adult beverages. Disgusting!!!

Pros: The beach
THE ROOM WAS DIRTY, THE BATHROOM WAS DISGUSTING AND THE DISHES AND CUPS IN THE RESTAURANT WERE DIRTY.

Room was "ok".

Bleach stains on chairs. The only snacks available at the honor bar were 2 bags of almonds, both expired. No room service. The bed was ok, nothing special. For the cost it wasn't worth it.

We did not receive a nice reception at all at the front desk. The woman in training was very pleasant but the woman training her was not. She seemed put out by even having to get us our room keys and did not tell us anything about the hotel. (First time ever there for us) The guys working the beach for set up and food/drink were great! Very friendly and quick service. The valets were all very prompt and professional.
