Pros: It was clean & personal.
Cons: Valet fees could be waived off season. Maybe coffee in the lobby area. Music needed to be a little louder by the pool area.
Location: Worth Ave Shopping. Short walk to the beach. Many Dining choices.
This was a beautiful quaint older hotel. It was smaller than I expected inside. Although it had a beautifully decorated lobby, I can't explain what was missing. It may be because I went off season, but it lacked a vibe. No one really ever sitting in the lobby & not much going on. So if you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay, then this would be the place for you. Know before you go that there is no coffee machine in the room. It also felt odd having the lunch guests from the outdoor bistro overlooking the pool while guest were swimming and sunbathing. It was no big deal, just an odd set up. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

Pros: Great location, MOTOWN Friday
Cons: Recent takeover has disrupted superior service. Not a Hotel Problem, BUT, PALM BEACH, beach is a mess! At Tide change.
Location: GREAT LOCATION... Fabulous Shopping and Restaurants
We completely enjoyed our long weekend at the COLONY from dancing Motown Friday in the POLO Lounge to entertaining friends for dinner poolside, Staff and facilities were just right. Definitely something we will DO OVER!

Location: Worth Avenue and boat basin
The doormen were accommodating and friendly upon arrival. My room was available early - all good. From that point on, things were not so great. > Was surprised to learn that there is no on-site fitness center. Was given directions to a Palm Beach fitness center "just 1/2 mile down S. County Road - you can't miss it. You can pay $10 and there will be no problem." The problem was that I walked down S. County Road for 40 minutes and no fitness club - did she send me in the wrong direction? > Went to the Polo Room for a solo dinner - Maitre d' showed me a menu and said - "You can sit at the bar and have a lighter meal". Went to the bar, same menu, and when I told the bartender I would order wine once I knew what I was having for dinner. He left, went to the other end of the bar, and never returned. I ended up leaving and going to a great bistro off Worth Avenue.

Service,service,service!

Pros: Cleanliness and high level of service
Cons: Coffee in room was it
Location: Walk to shops,restaurants and the beach
Gone customer is king here! Unabounding service, we checked in at 11am never thinking our room was ready,but it was. There's no coffee in the room and the restaurant don't open till 7am, but they made coffee and had somebody bring it up at 6am!

Cons: More outlets for charging computers/phones
Location: Great location - beach, pool and restaurants and shopping
Beautifully decorated by Mrs Draper Great colors bold designs fits the Palm Beach atmosphere. Delicious breakfast! Beautiful pool area, easy walk to the beach and they supply towels,umbrellas and chairs. Wonderful stay!
