Old and Tired

I've never met a more friendly or helpful staff. They get a big thumbs-up! Unfortunately, the hotel was VERY run-down. Towel rack fell after barely touching it. The toilet sometimes flushed. Sometimes not. Pealing wall paper and a horrific odor disguised as an air freshener. Not a good value for the money.

We have recently upgraded most of our rooms and are in the process of completing the balance of 10 rooms. Unfortunately we do not have any wall paper. Our rooms are cleaned on daily basis. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

I would not recommend staying here.

Stained bed linens, musty smell, construction late into the evening on the same floor, notably the room right next to mine. No outlests in bathroom. Way overpriced for terrible quality. I would like refund as we didn't even stay. Had to leave and book a room at the Hilton.

Dear Guest Thank you for staying with us. All linen gets inspected twice before spread for our guest. All guestrooms get inspected by the supervisor before guest checks in to ensure they are clean, smell good and bedding is done properly. All rooms are sanitized and cleaned thoroughly once the guest check out. All guestrooms and guest bath have outlets and all guest bathrooms have hair dryers plugged in with additional outlets. Our hotel prices are very compatible. We apologize for any noise, but all construction stops at 5 p.m. out of respect for our hotel guest to ensure there is no disturbance. If you had reported any issues to the front desk, we would have gladly looked into it for you. Thank you.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is the dirtiest hotel that I have ever seen. The room is in such bad repair that the ceiling tiles were falling down. I cannot believe that anything in that place has passed inspection. DO NOT STAY HERE. Hotels.com should not even have it on their site.

This place is really for great access to the beach in the staff is wonderful. The food in the restaurant is delicious even though it is not very fancy. Spacious room, but old and not very modern. Can't beat the location

Amazing for the price

Pros: Tiki Bar, Heated pool, on the beach, rooftop restaurant with ocean view, close to Blue Heron Bridge, close to Port of Palm Beach, comfy bed
Cons: Lunch served at the restaurant
Location: Close to Port of Palm Beach, Blue Heron Bridge, it's on the beach, short walk to the marina (really good food, crafts Thursdays), close shopping
The hotel is really awesome, especially for the price. You are literally right on the beach, there is a tiki bar, a heated pool, a place for bands to play outside on the weekend, and the only rooftop restaurant on the island is on top of this hotel. The restaurant has breakfast (pretty delicious) and dinner (didn't eat there fro dinner yet) and a really great view. The outdoor area is really pretty and relaxing. The beach is nice, and somewhat natural (there are dunes). The rooms are huge. They are super clean and smell nice. They are not super fancy, but the bed is comfy and it has a nice TV and plenty of closet space. . This hotel is close to ports and shops and SCUBA areas. I don't understand the bad reviews for this place. They must be from the old management. I liked it a lot. The staff was helpful and friendly and the facilities were awesome. I will definitely stay here again when I come to SCUBA the BHB again.

good beach location

It was a great stay. We chose a room that did not have a view of the ocean, but it was a VERY short walk to the beach. The room was very spacious and had a balcony. It was within walking distance to a few shops, restaurants and a convenience store. The resort had a restaurant on the top floor and a tiki bar out back.
