it was ok.. Not the best

Very outdated...the beds old and hard... Shower water pressure was the worst. Tub didn't drain so I was showering in a ft of water. Parking garage underneath was tight. Pool very small...but heated. Tiki bar outside ehh was ok... I paid 250 a night here.. It was the smallest hotel ocean front.. Not much of ocean view..

Nice location close to the beach, poor service.

Pros: Location to the beach. The room had recently been remodeled and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: Everything, new management, better cleaning, better customer service.
Location: The beach is right behind the location and it is beautiful. There are a few places to eat within walking distance. The Marriot next door was nice.
The rooms were not cleaned until 5.00 pm. We were in the room and the cleaning person told the front desk we had 6 people in our room. There were clearly 4 of us. The front desk called and accused us of having extra people in the room. They nickled and dimed us over everything. They charged us extra for my two sons when we paid for a double room. There was a mix up on the reservations and they charged us for a no show of $224.00 expedia couldn't refund it because the hotel would not allow it.. They didn't even give you toilet paper in the room, you had to go down and ask for everything. The staff was very rude. Our room was comfortable but the refrigerator wasn't plugged in, so it wasn't cold. Ice was only available on the bottom level. The customer service is horrible here, the reason they rob you is because they probably don't get any return guests. When we arrived they gave us the wrong room keys and we had to go all the way back down with our luggage to get the correct keys, no apology was made. the lobby and bathrooms downstairs were run down and dirty. The beach however is beautiful, just stay somewhere else.

It is really just a few steps from the beach !!!

Pros: It is clean !!! Not fancy ! Has a nice swimming pool and a bar on the Deck , great life music on different days . Very comfy
Cons: The owners are really working on improving and renovating this old gem !!!
Location: Nice restaurants and bars are all in walking distance , the beach is right there ! Safe neighborhood , one can walk in the middle of night - no fears
It's been our 3 rd time staying there , it is always perfectly clean , very nice staff and owners , feels more like home because of the smaller size of the Hotel. Nice , not fancy restaurant on top of the roof with a perfect view of the ocean ( for the romantic ones ! ) Serving breakfast and dinner - nice menu )

This place is really for great access to the beach in the staff is wonderful. The food in the restaurant is delicious even though it is not very fancy. Spacious room, but old and not very modern. Can't beat the location

Amazing for the price

Pros: Tiki Bar, Heated pool, on the beach, rooftop restaurant with ocean view, close to Blue Heron Bridge, close to Port of Palm Beach, comfy bed
Cons: Lunch served at the restaurant
Location: Close to Port of Palm Beach, Blue Heron Bridge, it's on the beach, short walk to the marina (really good food, crafts Thursdays), close shopping
The hotel is really awesome, especially for the price. You are literally right on the beach, there is a tiki bar, a heated pool, a place for bands to play outside on the weekend, and the only rooftop restaurant on the island is on top of this hotel. The restaurant has breakfast (pretty delicious) and dinner (didn't eat there fro dinner yet) and a really great view. The outdoor area is really pretty and relaxing. The beach is nice, and somewhat natural (there are dunes). The rooms are huge. They are super clean and smell nice. They are not super fancy, but the bed is comfy and it has a nice TV and plenty of closet space. . This hotel is close to ports and shops and SCUBA areas. I don't understand the bad reviews for this place. They must be from the old management. I liked it a lot. The staff was helpful and friendly and the facilities were awesome. I will definitely stay here again when I come to SCUBA the BHB again.

good beach location

It was a great stay. We chose a room that did not have a view of the ocean, but it was a VERY short walk to the beach. The room was very spacious and had a balcony. It was within walking distance to a few shops, restaurants and a convenience store. The resort had a restaurant on the top floor and a tiki bar out back.

Good location, clean-dated rooms, no restaurant

The front desk was very polite however it seemed real odd that they wouldn't accommodate an early check in for us when it seemed like we were one of the only guests that were staying there. The room was very dated but the bed was comfortable and the room was large and clean. There wasn't no food on the property and we were under the understanding that there was continental breakfast as it said there was when we booked. We wouldn't stay here again but are not unhappy that we did. This hotel is right on the ocean which was what we wanted.

Keep you expectations low & you will be fine

Pros: Best location ever for a budget motel
Cons: Needs updating but then they would charge more
Location: Within walking distance to marina resort plus great snorkeling around the jetty at the end of the island.
Less than all other hotels on the best beach ever, because it is a motel. That being said, don't expect a lot. New paint, over old. Carpet really needs replacing. Cheapest rooms have no balcony or view. Mine only had a window unit a/c. Reasonably clean.TV service is very limited, 3 networks plus Fox but no cable channels. Front desk staff very friendly but on Sunday gate to access walk to beach was locked and remained so even after mentioning, meant walking around the building and through the lobby. Pool has very little room, only 3 lounge chairs. Small Tiki Bar has tables & chairs plus lounge chairs too. Available food is by someone throwing things on a gas grill so "real" food is elsewhere but within walking distance. Live music on weekends but dependent on weather. If the weather and seas are good and you are on a budget its great, just don't expect much.

We are an ocean view Hotel, not a motel, offering many amenities to the guest and a pool and a Tiki Bar. Most of our guestrooms and corridors have been upgraded. We are still in the process of upgrading the rest of the rooms. All the guests have the option to upgrade to a guestroom with a view. All rooms have wifi at no charge and cable channels. We would have gladly looked into it if you were having a difficulty with the TV. There are many food places within walking distance. The activities are limited sometimes due to the weather as we are on the beach. Our friendly staff is always available to assist all guest in every possible way. Thank you again for staying with us.
