Modern hotel on the sand

Posted Apr 29, 2016
Pros: Location on the sand. The pool is on the street side of the hotel and is beautiful - quiet and serviced by it's own bar and staff.
Cons: Nothing particular - the design is nice but i'm not a fan of the dark walls and low lighting in the hallways.
Location: Boyton Beach at the ocean is close to a lot of restaurants, the Palm Beach Museum, bike paths up into the island of Palm Beach is really nice.
We have stayed here before under prior ownership and thought it was still very much the modern hotel we saw before. The hotel is smaller than some we have stayed at but that is not a negative. If you go there kick up the room rate for ocean front. We didn't get a balcony but the windows open enough to get the ocean into your room

Poor choice in design and decor . Hotel is dark .

Posted Apr 24, 2016
Hotel is more for a masculine taste perhaps and not an uplifting atoms here very gloomy surroundings . Everything brown Furniture looked like Purchased from china or Bobs furniture store . Floors and walls were also dark . No color ar brightness Pool should be on beach not in front of the hotel .

Great Hotel Except for Cell Coverage

Posted Apr 19, 2016
Pros: Great Restaurant and the Food was amazing. Service was great too. Pool is awesome and quiet.
So i never review Hotels really but after being here i feel the need to let others know that its a great Hotel. The Food and service is amazing. The pool is awesome and poolside service is very prompt. The room we had facing the ocean was very tiny. No tub and zero counter space, i literally have a bruise or two from trying to navigate it. The biggest concern was that I had ZERO cell service as did my girlfriend. We have AT&T and we had to rely on their WiFi which id say is average. If you're retired and don't care about cell service then its a great place on the beach. SO just understand if you book here and have AT&T you will get zero cell service until you leave the hotel.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so happy to know you enjoyed your stay at the hotel with the exception of the cellular phone service. I can assure you we just finished upgrading the cellular signal buster and having reception will not be an issue moving forward. We hope to welcome you again in the near future.

Thoroughly Enjoyable stay, with only one exception

Posted Apr 13, 2016
Pros: Location, location, location! Rooms, hotel staff, beach/pool staff, fitness facilities.
Cons: Restaurant service - horrible - waiters/runners need basic training.
Location: There is a boardwalk nearby with a tourist trap restaurant - Benny's. The food is affordable though for breakfast.
My husband and I just returned from a 4 night mini-vacation at the Tideline. From the moment we arrived where the valet staff greeted us warmly to the initial check in with the front desk person - Max (who was awesome) - we knew we were in a well run place. We have stayed in many Kimpton hotels over the years and always find them well-run with great amenities - coffee in the morning - wine reception in the evening - free wifi for Kimpton Karma rewards members (free to sign up); but this property was spectacular - the location on the beach with a pool on the other side gave us fun options for our sun/swim pleasure. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The fitness center was just the right size. The staff from front desk, to valet, to pool/beachside servers - were all fantastic. The one major issue we had was with the restaurant - the food was good, but the service was horrible. We ate at the restaurant once for dinner; once for lunch and twice for breakfast during our stay - the drinks weren't well made; the servers when asked for simple things like side plates or hot sauce with our meal - forgot what we asked them for and either never brought it or delivered it way too late. They never checked with us during our meal to see how we were doing - not on any of the 4 times we ate there. The staff forgot to bring things like sugar for coffee, never asked if we wanted water, and didn't bring salt/pepper to the table. For a 4 star resort; this is unacceptable.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. While I am thrilled to know how much you enjoyed your stay at The Tideline, I am saddened to learn about the less than stellar experience at the restaurant, which is not common. I can assure you I have addressed the service issues with my Director of Food and Beverage. Thank you for your business.

Great location including beach

Posted Apr 8, 2016
Pros: Beach, location
Cons: Wide wooden bed frames invite banged up shins.
Location: Great location on the beach and by the causeway.
Second stay and very pleased both times. Very nice beach set up. Much better value than other high end hotels in the area. Food at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch much better than average.

A Lovely Getaway

Posted Mar 26, 2016
A very unique setting on the beach with a nice spa, bar, and restaurant. My husband and I loved that the hotel was dog friendly and without fees. They have complimentary bicycles available on a first come - first serve basis. And you can ride up and down scenic Ocean Blvd. we would definitely return!
