Nice place and not too expensive

Location: The Manhattan Deli/Restaurant next door is excellent.
Every unit has a living room and bedroom with flat screen TVs. All units have a full kitchen and a patio or deck with a grill. Only issue is if you are in an upstairs unit there is no elevator. I would stay here again.

Roomy condo with all amenities

Posted Apr 8, 2016
We enjoyed our stay at Desert Isle. It was easy to find, comfortable and well appointed - big and spacious for the two of us. With two bathrooms and full kitchen, the condo would accommodate a family of four. It also had dedicated parking and spa just outside the unit.

Great Getaway

We've stayed here several times and just love it. Our room was remodeled and had an amazing steam bath/shower feature. It's close to downtown and within walking of grocery stores and restaurants. The pool is smaller but the grounds are very relaxing and quiet.

Great Value

Posted Oct 29, 2007
We visited during a non-busy time in mid-Sept. The condo unit is large (probably 1200 sq ft) and immaculate. The mattress is quite firm, though. Propane for the BBQ is extra. There are many on-site facilities: outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool (only has one jet), tennis court, ping pong table (it's on a concrete pad with a palm umbrella overtop), indoor gym equipment, and bikes and helmets (need to be signed out). There is complimentary covered and uncovered parking. The one disadvantage is that next door they are building some big box stores and construction starts around 6 AM. It doesn't really affect your sleep. They wrap up work around 4 PM, so no problems with the evening swim and BBQ. The Ralph's store 1 block away is undergoing renovations, so you need to drive for groceries. You need a car anyway for Palm Springs. Overall, the stay was comfortable and quite private.
