Our family has enjoyed staying at Desert Willow over the years. We are happy the property is now a Hilton Grand Vacations once again.

I stayed in a 750 sqft room, spacious for the price, and it has everything you need in the kitchen. Driving to nearby business center was about 5-10 minutes. The hotel has 2 chargers for EV free for guests. 2 TV are smaller than many other hotels, about 32-36 inches but you can cast Netflix or anything on Chromecast. I don’t see this feature at other hotels. I paid through Orbitz in advance and got a discount which was lower than if paying at the hotel at the check in. I wanted to leave 1 day early but couldn’t because I paid through Orbitz. Orbitz agents tried to help me but could not talk to the hotel because they have a “policy … do not contact “. They suggested I talk directly to the hotel but the hotel said they couldn’t do much because I paid Orbitz. So, I got the runaround. Anyway I am happy with the stay, but wish Hilton Hotel and Orbitz could be more transparent in their policies online.

We arrived in our room and it was 100 degrees inside due to the broken ac. We stayed in the room for about an hour while they try to fix the ac. We ended up moving rooms. Staff was great. I just wish they did a room check prior to guests arrival to ensure the room is ready.

Nice Stay
Nice, Quiet and relaxing trip. We stayed in building 27 with a very short walk to the pool. Was told they were at 100% occupancy and yet it was very quiet.

This is the 6th time I have stayed here in the past 10 years... Overall conditions and cleanliness are continuously declining. From Intrawest to Diamond Resorts and now Hilton Grand Vacations - the resort keeps getting more run down.

Room had a musty smell that lingered the entire time. AC stoped working though a quick response to fix it. Bathroom was dirty when we first got there. Pool situation was pretty sad, very small.

A beautiful oasis of comfort, relaxation and fun.
Beautiful, clean, family friendly and conveniences of all sorts. Games, movies, outdoor fun within walking distance inside the property. Pool just outside our room. Seating area on porch with fireplace. The amenities are endless. Grocery store and coffee shops down the road less than a minute away. Staff is amazing and friendly. I could not stay anywhere else now that we have experienced this place.

Best place in Palm Desert
Beautiful, roomy accommodations! Everything was very clean. The kitchen was fully appointed. The weather was so hot, we didn’t want to use the adult pool, as the water was hot, but not the resort’s fault. Staff were very polite and helpful. It is basically across the street from the JW Marriott. The rooms at Embarc were soooo much nicer, cleaner and 1/2 the price. I look forward to returning in a better season so we can use the amenities.

Nice and spacious with kitchen and separate living area. Property appears to be on the newer side. Next to Ralph’s shopping plaza. By the way, why is Expedia asking me if this review is helpful to black, Asian, Latino, LGBTQ groups? Let’s stop with the tribalism and accept that we are all PEOPLE.

We had a great time. While taking a walk around the property we noticed that the back side of the property was neglected. It was dirty, broken pots, lots of webs. I think it’s the part where they used to have timeshare presentations. I also think there should be iced water at pool areas.

Employees are kind and helpful. Customer service is great and the facility is great. Patios are not smoke free. So keep that in mind if you cant be around smokers.

Was a bit worried that the property is a timeshare but in general we were quite impressed with our rooms and of course the amenities. It's a hidden gem in the desert as many reviews mentioned. We also liked the feeling of staying in a vacation home instead of a hotel room.
