Pros: The building is beautiful.
Cons: Staffs attitude, you ask a simple question and all you get in return is a one word. Three staffs I had the chance to ask question were very dry.
Location: There is a lot to do in downtown Palm Springs. Great night life and a lot of activities around town.
The staffs were very nonchalant. Arrived late and the reception was empty and when the lady showed up, the first question was "what is your last name"? I thought that was very rude to say the least.

You get what you paid for. The hotel lobby and the non-smoking rooms smell like smoke.

Extra Charge

Posted Jul 18, 2015
I booked a room for one adult and one child age 14. When it was time to check in I was told it would cost $20.00 extra per night.

Pets allowed.... good night sleep? depends...

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: location, price.
Cons: clean the elevator more often and steam clean the hall ways. The pet odor is quite strong...
Location: Walking distance to the hustle and bustle. (for a New Yorker)
Outside looks very nice and clean. Don't get put off by the "air port" name. I did not hear any planes for the 3 nights that I stayed. Breakfast is a simple grab and go... don't expect to have the usual "continental breakfast" that is not available here. Room is decent size with a small usable kitchen. Don't try to make anything fancy, but it will do for your normal cooking. The location is good, very close to the La Plaza area, which is where everything happens. You can walk there if you wish, just a few blocks away. The only real problem I have are the pets. The hall way smells bad, the elevator smells bad and worst of it all is that if you happen to get a dog on your FLOOR, then there is a high chance you won't be able to sleep because that dog, might be barking all night... Nothing management can do about it either, they are guests and they allow pets, that's just the policy... So if you are a pet lover, then this is the hotel for you. If you are not, then book somewhere else. On the plus side, the staff is always friendly...

Quick Trip Approved

Posted Jun 2, 2015 on Hotels
Everything went good. Room and view was nice. There were babies crying early in the morning but that's wasn't the hotels fault...or maybe the walls were a little to thin haha. Housekeeping was up a bit early. And passed up our room before we were out the door and we didn't get any service from them. The "continental breakfast" was just coffee and muffins, not bad, but not what I was expecting. Overall smooth stay easy check-in and check-out thanks to hotels.com. Just sad I didn't have time to jump in the pool.

you get what you pay for (or don't pay for...)

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: CLEAN the rooms! Get better beds.
Location: Good location
Good Rate, but you get what you pay for (or don't pay for...) - Arrived to find they wanted to put us in a smoking room when he had booked a non-smoking room. Had to take a smaller bed in a non-smoking room. OK, but I am 6'8" and really need a King bed. - Front desk agent said room "204", but wrote "206" on the key card holder. We went upstairs and tried 206. The people in 206 were not happy. I remembered he said "204" and we tried 204 and it opened. - "Suite" it is not. It is a longer room with a small kitchen as you enter. A studio room. Not a suite. The half wall does not make a suite. - The room was not clean. Spots on the carpet. Kitchen not 100% clean as there were food crumbs in the cabinets. Grease in the edge of the cook top and the counter. The TV remote was not in the room and I looked behind the TV cabinet and they should CLEAN behind furniture... dust, lint, bits of paper, etc. The staff did deliver a new remote within a few minutes of my call to the front desk. - They allow animals so be prepared for barking at 2am. - Towels were ROUGH, old, and the edges were ripped. I would not wash my car with these towels as they would scratch the paint. BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS if you plan to stay here. - The bed was FIRM - very firm... like putting a blanket on concrete FIRM. I did not know they made beds this firm. Took hours to get to sleep, awoke with back ache. Will not stay here again.
